Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

It has been quite a while that I have seen Sydney and this scenery. The opera house always make for some nice background, especially if the clouds are low and the sky is red. Hope I can go there again some day
Great capture, the sky look on fire and hell has fallen on this beautiful piece of architecture that is the opera house!
Awesome shot bro!
That sky is amazing. I love the colors.
Wow! Those colors are just amazing.
I like travelling very much. Most of the time you can find me in the nature. I don't like big cities very much. But there is 1 exception. Sydney. What a great city. The botanical garden, Manly beach, darling harbour, the opera house and the harbour bridge and so much more. I will go there again.
I still have to make it to Australia so i cannot judge myself but it sure looks like an amazing city. Thank you for sharing your entry. Tomas
Australia has been a calling for traveling and a mind opener to me. Going wild, exploring the country while living the simple life!
Inspirationally exploring the OZ's open road to infinity! A calling for you to explore more.
Location: The Australian Outback.
So typical. The Road to Nowhere, Somewhere.
Yep the usual road to infinity :)
For a change, I thought of posting something more inspiring than I I submit usually and it is always nice to see one of these classic photo ;)
Could be pretty much anywhere out past the Black Stump.
I didn't knew about the expression and saying "black stump"but I totally agree with you! I think it perfectly describe this photo :)
Beyond the Black Stump - out past Whoop Whoop...
The road with no end. Amazing image.
Yep these are the open roads! Thank you for the compliment :)
Rainbow Lorikeet
I know that this contest is mainly about Landscape Photography. Anyway I would like to participate with this shot of these beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets. They were waking us up every morning while we were living on the Sunshine Coast here in Australia.
They are a great bird.
That is very exotic and a great sight to see when waking up. I wouldn't like the noise though:)
thank you @czechglobalhost. they can be really annoying! :)
Golden hour in Australia is amazing! Could there be any better way to spend golden hour than to take a walk on a beautiful beach such as this one in Byron Bay on Australia's East Coast?
Beautiful. There is so much that is great about this image, from the reflections on the wet sand, the silhouette, and the misty layers of landscape in the background.
Thanks for your nice words :)
That image is absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing.
Here's my entry : )

This photo was taken at Elliot Heads, near Bundaberg in Queensland Australia. Elliot Heads is a small coastal town with beautiful clear waters and almost white sandy beaches. This is the inlet where the tide goes in and out to the ocean. It's a stunning area when the tide is in for swimming, fishing and water sport activities such as kayaking but on low tide is it just as beautiful with a whole underwater city to be discovered with lots of marine and aqua life just waiting to be explored.
Please add a 30 word description to your image for it to be considered for the contest.
Thank you for the reminder... I always forget to add it to the post here.
You're welcome.
Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas
Thanks Tomas! I shall, I always check all your posts! : )
There are more than 10,000 beaches if you visit a beach each day it would take you 30 years that is insane. Love the beach life hear with all the wildlife especially the seaguls roaming around.
Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great day. Tomas
The National Carillon is a bell tower with 55 bronze bells on which tunes can be played located on Aspen Island in Central Basin, Lake Burley Griffin,Canberra . It tolls on the the hour and chimes the quarter hour. The sound of its bells can be heard around Central Basin and as far away as Kingston Foreshore.
Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas
Again, a pleasure. Thank you so much for your contest.
I'm really glad I came across The World's Coolest McDonalds in Lake Taupo in New Zealand. Regardless of whether you like the Golden Arches or not, you've gotta love this DC10 which has been converted into an eating area and you can actually dine inside.
Not a fun of McDonald's myself but that sure looks like a cool place.
That's why I only took the photo without having a big Mac... :D
Cradle Mountain, Tasmania. I arrived by the lake as it started to rain, and crouched on the water line taking photos until the camera couldn't take any more. It was grey and windy, but the weather is extremely unpredictable in Tasmania.
Thank you so much for your participation.
Thanks for hosting your competition. It really is one of the best photo competitions on here, if not the best.
A beauty from a boat trip on our way to manly beach. This photo was taken in 2015 with an iPhone 6! One of my favoueite cities and hope to go back one day!
I've heard New Zealand is an absolutely stunning country
Lake Matheson in New Zealand!
