Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.
See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:
The opera House and the harbour bridge view from the botanic gardens during night time. Sydney is such a great city and the rock is the place to hang out. The opera house structure is just breathtaking and so intriguing, it is a great architectural piece!

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@vcclothing Asian Sunday entry:
I was exploring the caves in Petra Jordan were people used to live and I came across this one cave that had a window with a awesome view. I was there during winter so it was cold out side but surprisingly inside the caves was alot warmer. Petra is an amazing place to explore! So many cool caves to check out.

Jervis Bay Territory
This is the view on the amazing Steamers Beach in the Jervis Bay Territory in New South Wales, Australia. This was definitely one of the most beautiful Beaches I´ve ever seen. White sand, crystal clear water and when the swell is right you can even have a decent surf there.
Thank you so much for your submission. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today.
Burning sunset over the Beagle Gulf, as every night the landscape turns into an incredible scenery of thousand colours.
Darwin is a magical place for sunset sighting and every day the end of the day is just mind-blowing... I loved it!
Location: Darwin, australia.
Incredible ~ 🤗 ~
Thank you :)
This is such a great shot. I love the sky and the colors in this one.
Thanks for the compliment:)
The sky can be even more incredible sometimes. I remember showing people a photo of anotger sunset I shot, they wouldn't believe me when I was explaining this photo wasn't edited or a creation!

Wow! Those are some incredible colors.
When i was snowboarding at Mt Hutt in New Zealnd we drove past the Rakaia Gorge everyday on our way to the mountain. On our last day we got on a jet boat and rippped it up this beautiful river with crystal clear blue water. The scenery is so beautiful in New Zealand.

More like Mt Shutt! Hahaha! Sorry, I have a bit of a rule with that one mate!
Haha. Which mountain would you recommend next time I visit NZ?

Excellent shot. Well done!

Mary Kathleen Uranium Mine
Mary Kathleen is a spooky place: The Outback settlement was built in the 1950s to provide housing to over thousand miners working in the uranium mine and was bulldozed to the ground after the mine was closed in the 1980s. Mary Kathleen is supposed to be clean from radiation and a popular spot for wild camping in between the ruins of the former settlement. I guess there really is no radiation since I was not diagnosed with cancer yet!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
Well I hope it stays that way:)
Monkey Mia - Australia's West Coast is my favorite. It doesn't really matter where you are, the water is super clear and one can see what's happening under water. Monkey Mia is famous for its dolphins that come every day to collect their food from the "rangers" or whoever else is feeding them.
absolutely love it ~ ✨ ~
Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Have a great day. Tomas

Uluru, Nothern Territory.
A sacred place to Australia's indigenous people. To climb this rock is not prohibited, but the aboriginal people asked visiters to respect their law and culture by not climbing.
Climbing this sacret site wil be officially banned from 26 october 2019.
Untill now already 37 people died during the climb.
Wow, that is quite a hight number of deaths. Great entry!
This year july was number 37. The heat can be extreme, people wear no walking shoes and fall, heart attacks.
Very sad for the aboriginal people, they feel responsible when people die on their land.
Road to Glenorchy, New Zealand
About an hour from Queenstown on the south island, Glenorchy is the end of the road. But what a road! Although there's not much to do in Glenorchy the drive itself, along Lake Wakatipu, is more than worth the detour. This photo was taken from the Bennetts Bluff Lookout area where both Pig and Pigeon Islands are visible in the distance.
What an amazing scenery! Great job.
Thanks Tomas!
