San Gimiagno is probably my favourite town during my Tuscany trip a few years ago. The town is famous for its towers, a sign of wealth in the old day. The wealthier you are, the taller a tower you will build.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

Halloween is just around the corner so let me come up with something thematic today. This a monochrome shot of the Vysehrad Cemetery in Prague. The origins of the Vysehrad Cemetery date back to the 13th century when it was established as a regular municipal cemetery. In 1869, however, the site was "upgraded" to a national cemetery that has been serving as the last resting place of many prominent figures of the Czech history.
Unbelievable what autumn can conjure up for colors. It was supposed to be an ordinary walk through the autumn forest. But then I lifted my head up and saw a lot of colors that mixed in the trees.
Location: Buchlovské hory (Buchláky) - Czech Republic
Pěkné barvy, to hraje podzimem!
Zajímavý úhel a parádní barvy :)
I took this picture on my way to the city where I recently moved - Sibiu.
Autumn is my favourite season because I am a lover for the various colours of nature that can be seen only in the wilderness.
Wooow! Looks like a collage of a day landscape and night sky :) Amazing piece.
Thank you so much! :)
The 'Calanque d'Ensuès la Redonne', France, at sunset. We had a dance event organized by the sea this summer, a small lindy hop practise. The color at sunset were super nice, the water was warm and the music groovy. Good vibes all over.
The beautiful and ancient village of Mértola, located in Baixo Alentejo region (Southeast Portugal), was built and founded on the banks of the Guadiana - the great river of Southern Iberia. This is the view from the south side of the village ...
PS: please, click on the photo to see it in full resolution.
Good luck to all participants!
Cheers !
Last week I woke up early for some pike fishing. When I got to the fishing spot, it was quite misty so I grabbed the drone and raised it up above the mists. Here is what I got to see. A small village shrouded in mists. This is the beautiful România.

Photo of the Kunsthaus de Graz in Austria. This is art interesting building for its unconventional design, it belongs to the style known as “Blob Architecture”, which states that the buildings should resemble living creatures. The nickname of this building is “Friendly Alien”.
Častolovice Chateau
The origins of the aristocratic mansion in the place of today's chateau date back to the mid-13th century. This picturesque chateau has undergone several fundamental changes in the past. The first significant change was brought to him by the Renaissance at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. In the 1870s it was rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic spirit. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was replaced by a Neo-Renaissance. Great emphasis is placed on flower decoration in the courtyard and in the interiors of the chateau.
This is the view from the coastline in southwest Portugal. Far away, the little building that's barely seen on the photo is the lighthouse of cabo São Vicente, the cape at the very tip of the country.
The Hallgrímskirkja church is one of the most iconic (and tallest) buildings in Reykjavik and the whole of Iceland. Its beautiful artisanal design is recognised worldwide. A must visit.

The Eden Project in Cornwall, the south west of England is a massive garden and includes two biomes, each representing a different climate. There's the Mediterranean Biome, and the Rainforest Biome. The latter is the largest indoor rainforest in the world. The site here is around 30 football fields big, plenty to see and do for the day.
The way to a very special TECHNO CLUB IN BERLIN: SISYPHOS!
The Sisyphos is one of the 10 most popular techno clubs in Berlin. The gates are regularly opened from Friday 0 am to Monday morning 10 am. In 3 unique rooms bear the names such as Steamer or Hammerhalle is the electronic music celebrated. In summer, a stage will be opened in the open air. The attention to detail can be seen on every corner. Sculptures made of metal, lamps that spit fire or a techno telephone booth where you can lock yourself up.
Greece is the perfect destination if you like culture, good food and history. Everywhere you go, you can find something cool to explore. In Delphi, the ruins of the Temple of Apollo visible today date from the 4th century BC and it is the 6th temple erected on that same site.
My holiday to the Italy led me many parts of Italy but of course the Romantic city of Rome was on the bucket list no only because of it's historical city but known for it's great food , wine and beauty of the city. So while in Rome i had to visit the famous Colosseum or Coliseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, it's an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy. Built of travertine limestone, tuff, and brick faced concrete, it was the largest amphitheatre ever built at the time and held 50,000 spectators and where many roman gladiators fought there battles to death.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa was built in 1173, in Piazza dei Miracoli, known as the Square of Miracles, although it was originally built as the bell tower of the city cathedral. The construction of the tower took 199 years.
Great photo! The colors of the sky are wonderful!
