European?! Well let's see what I have. I took this shot about a year ago in Saxony, Germany, very close to the Czech Border. A well hidden treasure that got famous through RedBull and Instagram. A park in which a half round Bridge forms a perfect circle in its own reflection. Surrounded by Trees and abstract rock formations. Magical place. The autumn colors round it up to a perfect frame!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #38 - winner announcement!
@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:
Already Monday again :-) Today I show you a photo from my first trip to New Zealand back in 2014. The weather on the North Island wasn't very good and we had to cancle many of our plans. But down in the south-east at Castlepoint a spell of sunny weather was forecast. So we drove down there and it was a great decision. The Castlepoint Lighthouse with Castlerock in the distance is such a beautiful subject to photograph. And asside from that there's also a beautiful beach and some steep cliffs to explore.

@amyalfatasya Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
Enjoy the beauty of the beach and the sunset in the "puloet" (Aceh). The beach is located at the end of "Great Aceh" and travels about 50 kilometers from the city "Banda Aceh" The sea is directly opposite the strait of the Indies. In addition to offering beauty, the waves on this beach is quite large and tall. This beach is rarely visited because of the ferocity of the waves.

There is Switzerland which is, I have to admit, really pretty. But than there is the Saxon Switzerland, which is even better ;) Nah, just kidding. It is fairly close though, thus I spent a lot of time in this pretty little area in the east of Germany. This shot was taken about 1h/ 90minutes before Sunrise. Heavy rain the night before provided the foundation for this super cool foggy scenery. An ocean of clouds with only the peaks penetrating the surface. Shot with my Nikon D5300 (Sigma 8-16mm)
Wow! A truly spectacular image!
Thank you!!!
This is amazing. Those clouds add such an awesome mood to the photo. It would be so fun to travel to Switzerland. I mainly want to go and get some cheese. I guess it would be cool to get some photos too, but mainly cheese.
Mhhhh cheese! As I mentioned, this place in the photograph is only called saxon switzerland but is located in the east of Germany. Thanks for the comment
A different look at the fishing village of Riomaggiore... This time, with the little village nestled in the green hills of the Cinque Terre National Park (Liguria region, northwestern Italy)!
Thank you so much for your wonderful contribution. Have a great day. Tomas
Thanks Tomas!
On last week's monday I was running around the Almsee in Upper Austria where I was able to get this beautiful snapshot and a few other great ones. It was definitely worth it getting up at 5am :)

Greets,

Beautiful composition! The reflection looks amazing in that clear rippling water.
Great to see you joining the contest again with this fabulous image! Thank you.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup is upon us, :) so I'm sharing a photo I took at the iconic landmark in Moscow - the Red Square, with the famous Basil's Cathedral and the Tower of the Kremlin. The square serves as a site of various public ceremonies. Yesterday Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the FIFA World Cup opening concert here.
Fantastic image!
This photo was taken from Eismeer station before arriving the final stop -- Jungfraujoch station. It is an underground station with an altitude of 3,159 metres which is the second highest railway station in Europe where the highest is Jungfraujoch of course.
Impressive mountains, they always bring up some respect! Thank you for sharing. Tomas
My today’s photo is from Iceland, where I was lucky to be witness of Aurora Borealis.
That was the most amazing natural phenomenon that I saw in person. If you have possibility I would recommend to everyone to go and try to capture Aurora Borealis and Iceland is just the right place to do so 😊

Thank you so much for this wonderful entry! Your contribution is truly appreciated.
Walking through the beautiful city of Kiev in Ukraine I could admire this monument, it is called Sofievskaya Church, the place is magnificent and you never get tired of looking.
I love the colors in your image, wonderful picture!
This is the islet of the Vizcaya locality of Bermeo, Basque Country (Spain) called Gaztelugatxe, the best time to visit is the spring or autumn and so enjoy the peace of the place, since in summer it is usually very crowded. This place was used for recordings of the famous television series Game of thrones, which would be part of Dragonstone
That sure looks very peaceful. Fabulous image!
Seeing your pics form Bruges is bringing up my desires to visit this place.
Many people refer to it as Europe's longest gorge and others as Europe's grand canyon!
It is the Samaria gorge.
One way in, one way out and in-between 13 km (8 miles) of rough terrain and nature’s beauty. Beginning at an attitude of 1.227 m (4.025 ft) and ending at sea level is one of the greatest experiences on Crete, Greece.
That looks like some serious hiking! Thank you for sharing your memories with us.
Thank you for the great contest and the chance you are giving to newbies to show their work!
I wrote a post about this hike if you care to read about Samaria!
Photo of the Millennium Bridge in London. It was open to the public in 2000. It is a steel suspension and it crosses the Thames river, and it is for pedestrian usage. You can see at the background of the photo St. Paul’s Cathedral a London landmark.
Last week I went for a morning walk at a Lake called Pfaffensee, situated a bit outside of the city of Stuttgart in Germany. It is the recreational area of all the city people. Everyone comes here to breath some fresh air, have a run around the lake and forget about the hustle in the city.
Schöner Rückzugsort von dem vielen Feinstaub ;)
haha definitiv! Auch aus Stuttgart?
Ich habe mal ein halbes Jahr im Kaltental (Vaihingen gewohnt), komme aber aus dem "verfeindetem" badischen Raum (Nähe Freiburg) ;)
Hi everyone, here is my entry.
I took this photo in Rome, Italy with Nikon Coolpix S 4100.
Rome has so many ancient buildings, it’s such a historical place with a a lot of culture and great architecture.
I really like the old part of town.
The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the biggest and with over 1 million visitors per year the most popular park in Croatia. When visiting try to avoid the main saison so you can enjoy the peace and beauty of this wonderful place for yourself.
The beautiful Fountains Abbey in beautiful sunshine and blue skies! One of the best examples of a monastery in the UK, amazingly preserved and set in amazing landscapes!
Hi @czechglobalhosts,
This is my entry for European Thusrday contest this week.
https://steemit.com/photography/@leodang/porto-at-the-sunset-portugal-anniversary-of-400-posts
Porto is a coastal city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production. In the medieval Ribeira (riverside) district, narrow cobbled streets wind past merchants’ houses and cafes.
To celebrate 400 posts in Steemit of mine. I choose the special moment in the time I live and study in Europe. This was my beautiful memory here. In my mind, Porto is a really beautiful city. Standing at this spot, I feel breath taking when looking at the river, the city from the top, the impressive bridge. This bridge was designed by a student of famous architect Effiel. Everything looks so stunning and impressive.
Best,
Stormy but colourful clouds at Curonian Spit beach, Lithuania. A lot of various things could be found on the beach after winter storms, some of them pretty well fits to be a foreground. Wide angle lens used to make this piece of plastic bag to look quite bigger than in reality
Enjoy the scenery!

Always so majestic and graceful the iron lady.
Armed with patience to get there with the work we had to make a great detour.
But it is always a pleasure to climb on foot or lift the floors.
The different views of Paris are still beautiful.
I took this picture right next to the harbour of Cirkewwa after returning from my day trip to Malta's small neighbouring island of Gozo. The harbour is located in the northwestern part of the island. In summer, ferries also depart from there to the smallest inhabited island of the Maltese archipelago, Comino.
In this photo I tried to take the big waves that this beach in Iceland has, that when they burst you get soaked right away. Europe has hidden corners like this that when you arrive you can not believe that they really exist, it seems that it was from some movie or some dream that has come true.

From one of the highest Parisian point of view I offer you a magnificent view over the French capital with in a far distance, in the background the business district "La Defense".
In the foreground, old French building painted of pastel colours... enjoy :)
Location: Paris, France.
In Spain, specifically in the central promenade of the Juan Carlos I park, this powerful sculpture is next to a very large playground. These are fingers that come from the ground, with a monumental scale that makes them monstrous, telluric or dark their interpretation is extremely open, and will depend a lot on the viewer, their expectations or their simple state of mind
Of course there is a lot to be happy for; there is a lot to show; same way there is a lot to enjoy.
Photography has really enriched my life. At first boredomness was killing me until i developed photography as a hobby even though it is a profession for many.
Once upon a time, i was feeling bored and i made a trip to Vienna, Austria to take photos and i made this amazing shot.

St. Marks Church, Zagreb
The St. Marks Church is one of Zahrebs most known icons. The tiles on the roof of the church show the coat of arms of Zagreb and the Kingdom of Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia that was part of the Habsburg Monarchy until the 19th century.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
Mont Saint-Michel in north France is very famous island and of course very beautiful. This time there was no water around it, as it was low tide. I need to say that during the day I wasn't able to visit this place because of big amount of people, so walking slowly in crowd is not my favourite way of sightseeing.
