Berlin, Capital of Germany. A place where you'll find the ugly and beautiful, the cheap and the wealthy the popular and the infamous.... all next to each other. Sometimes it feels like you'd be walking through a piece of run down once upon a time popular piece of architecture and all the sudden you will find yourself next to a pretty castle like this one. Most diverse architecture in one place.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #77 - winner announcement!
@pardinus Asian Sunday entry:
Starting the day with a view: this photo was taken in the second day of 2018. And the year started with a great ballon ride, during sunrise. For what we were told, due to weather conditions no flights had been done for over a week, so that day there was a hue amount of balloons flying. We didn't had a clear sky, but with views like this... it wasn't a problem! Edit: photo taken in Capadocia, Turkey.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #77 - winner announcement!
@gunnarheilmann Australian Monday entry:
It does not get more iconic than the Sydney opera house. At first nobody wanted it - now everybody on this planet knows this piece of architecture and identifies it with Sydney. Best seen like in this picture, is the opera house from the base of the habour bridge right by the Hyatt Sydney. I marked the exact spot on steemitworldmap.com.
@marc-allaria Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
You have already found yourself face to face with an animal of a size such that its presence is in itself a means of communication. The feeling of being questioned, analyzed, scanned! Unforgettable.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #77 - winner announcement!
@itchyfeetdonica African Wednesday entry:
The sad news of Ethiopian Airlines plane crash has brought my memory back to my solo trip in the country. This photo was shot in Addis Ababa in a late afternoon. A dreamy shade was cast on the enormous overpass, vehicles, pedestrians and the shining wet ground. I couldn’t help catching this great lighting :)

View of a part of the Cittadella of Victoria on the island of Gozo, Malta. The area has been inhabited since the Bronze Age, and the site now occupied by the Cittadella is believed to have been the acropolis of the Punic-Roman city of Gaulos or Glauconis Civitas.
Malta looks like a beautiful place
It is! Somewhat underrated in my opinion :)
Photo of the western façade of La Sagrada Familia, known as the Passion façade, since it has many sculptures that describe the Passion of Christ. La Sagrada Familia is the most famous church of Barcelona and it is the unfinished masterpiece of the Catalonian architect Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926).
Pena Palace in Sintra, Portugal is one of the most memorable places I've ever visited.
It is the most popular monument in Sintra, and dates back to 12th century.
Wow, never seen this building before. So colorful! Great entry :)
Kolymbithres Beach, Paros, Greece!
Paros is one of the most popular islands of the Cyclades complex and Kolymbithres is probably the most famous beach on the island. The unique rock formations gives the impression of a large scale sculpture project, with the courtesy of mother nature! A rather extraordinary scenery, don't you think so?
St. Nicholas Church, Prague
St. Nicholas Church is one of Prague's most beautiful churches. The impressive Baroque church stands in Mala Strana, Prague's old town. When I was visiting Prague, I passed this beautiful church every day on my way from my hostel to Charles Bridge or to the next tram stop.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
Known as the 'Seven Sisters', these huge chalk cliffs adorn the south coast of England on the boundary of the South Downs AONB. The chalk sisters mark the boarder between the UK and continental Europe.
My picture shows the city of Dresden. I took the picture on last Sunday. At the time there were violent storms in Germany. I was on top of the Frauenkirche to capture this panorama. The view was wonderful
Verona is probably my favorite city in Italy. The Roman city is a combination of old-world architecture, amphitheaters, quant balconies and riverside walkways surrounded by a green and lush landscape. It definitely has a different vibe than most other European cities I’ve visited, and even many other Italian cities.
One of my favourite european capitals: Budapest, Hungary. The Danube separates the margins of what once were two separate cities, Buda and Pest. Here, a view from the Buda side, with the amazing Hungarian Parliament on the left, and St. Stephen's catedral on the right.
The heart of Vilnius
The heart of Vilnius, Lithuania - Cathedral square with a white Neoclassical Vilnius Cathedral and a bell tower. It looks yellow on the photo due to shot at golden hour of sunset at very warm and nice summer evening.
Enjoy the view!

Bridge spanning the Danube River in the center of Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. There is a cafe known as UFO bar in the upper part of the bridge, offering some spectacular views of the city.
Berlin Berlin. Like i always say; it can be anything you dream of, it can be anything you dislike. Make it yours and it 'provides' whatever you need. Here it's architecture.
Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders house.
İzmir-Turkey
Greece is full of old temple and history. This temple is from Athens, it is part of the acropolis site. I remember arriving in Athens at 8AM after a 8h plane trip with no sleep and 6h of jetlag and deciding to go visit the acropolis. What a great idea! I was dead at the end of the day.
I just came across this post. It might be too late to make an entry - I'm not sure. The post said submit by 8am cebntral European time but I'm unsure of what day you're referring to. If it's not too late here is my entry.
It's of the Chateau de Chantilly in Chantilly France. I took it back in February on a recent trip there with my wife.
