Night view of Rome Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi) in Rome, Italy. Trevi is most famous fountain of Rome. Architecture and landmark of Rome.
Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans and African Wednesday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #8 - winner announcement!
@justdentist Asian Sunday entry:
It's sunday again. Today want to share with you another picture of the Guilin Fisherman. Back in the days they were real cormorant fisherman. Nowadays they work as models for tourists 😜 The riverbed of the Liang River and the famous Karst landscape mountains in the background.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #8 – winner announcement!
@karolisp Australian Monday entry:
All paths lead to Arthur's Pass
This was taken on our casual 30+km hike around the amazing Arthur's Pass in New Zealand. We started to feel some kind weird vibration/noise and saw that a train is coming behind us, it was really sneaky.
@theaustrianguy Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
If you say ocean you have to like this view of a sundown as seen from a small fishing boat in front of the French coast. It's amazing how the water reflects the colours - just a magical moment!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #8 – winner announcement!
@extremejogging African Wednesday entry:
Not many people will ever witness this epic view... starting 20km from the closest town, I ran 18km in scorching heat to the top of the Keiskie mountain in the semi-desert region of the Hantam, South Africa, to take this photo.

This picture was captured on a sunny day in later summer at the Laudachsee in Upper Austria. It combines powerful green plants, a nice hiking mountain and a crystal-clear mountain lake. This is Europe!
Amazing image! Thank you so much for your participation. Tomas
This photo was taken at Trieste port. Part of the city with its hills can be seen and the image it is framed by the ship, which gives an interesting composition.
Trieste is in Italy but it has strong Austrian influence this can be noticed by the architecture of the city.
What a great image!
Kingdom of Fife Scotland
I made the picture on our last walk by the sea early in the morning. On the other side of the Photo is Edinburgh, a good 40 minutes by car or train. The weather was nice, but very cold. ….really Scottish.
Thank you so much or a great entry. Personally, I would have liked it better if you did not use the frame. Stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
After Prague, I think the most photogenic and picturesque city in Europe (and probably the world) is Venice, Italy. How can you not love a city built on the water where getting in a taxi means a boat? I took a ton of pictures just riding in a water taxi throughout the city. And when you finally get off the taxi, there's plenty more to take pictures of! It's one of those cities that, even though you've seen it before in pictures, somehow exceeds your expectations when you finally see it in person.
Hmmm.... I like how you have started the sentence:).... Great entry!
You know the Trolltunga in Norway? You should! It's a ledge near Odda to which you need to hike around 14 kilometers. We started in the afternoon, camped on the hills and with the morning sun we had this awesome view :) If you want to visit it next summer, i'd suggest to do it the same way. If you start in the morning, you'll be there in the afternoon and then there are too many tourists.
I took this photo on the edge of the ledge around 5am in July 2017
Great post! Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
Nice contest! This my participation :)
Picture of the Lake Como taken at Lecco in August 2017. Literally a lake between the mountains. The water is warm and you can go in it but it's deep really fast :)
Thank you for your great entry. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon.
Photo taken in Nivolet part of Gran Paradiso National park situated in the north-west of Italy between the city of Turin and Aosta. Elevation approximately between 2500km and 2800 km. This national park is full of small Alpin lakes and mountains.
Fabulous entry, thank you for your participation!
This is my entry into this week's Thursday Europe Edition of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge! Pictured here is the Neuschwanstein Castle, located in Germany. This castle was constructed during the 19th-century and what many people do not know about it is that Disney used this castle as inspiration when designing Cinderella's Castle at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, USA and Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disney Land in Los Angeles, California, USA. Pretty neat!
Thank you so much for your entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
This picture was taken in Menorca, Cala en Blanes. The water here is so clean that one can see the bottom even if the depth is very large. Moreover, its turquoise color is bright and wonderful. Always pleasure to swim there!
Great image! Thank you so much for sharing. Tomas
Hi Tomas,
Cliffs of Moher, Atlantic Ocean - Ireland.
The wind, the clouds, the sun, the sea and the land were playing there everlasting game. I was there with my wife and son. The experience was overwhelming, it actually made me wonder how small we are but yet a part of something great.
Hello! Thank you for entering your image into the challenge. I certainly appreciate that. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
I have chosen this picture to show how much the tower is actually leaning next to Duomo di Pisa. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is just an extraordinary building and I can see why it is such a famous building and is a must see if you are visiting Italy.
Hello and thank you for a great entry but due to late submission cannot be entered into the competition. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas
Let me bring some completely different picture today, no landscape nor beautiful building. Just a cigaret machine, but one that's lovely designed.
Berlin an artist's paradise is calling, can't wait to get back home myself

Welcome to Tarifa - the European Kite and Surf Mecca
Levante and Poniente - the wind is almost always blowing in Tarifa. That makes the Spanish city an Eldorado for watersports. There are several videos from the worlds best kitesurfers which jump the Tarifa pier - basically they jump from the Mediterranean Sea into the Atlanic Ocean or the other way around. The image shows a busy day at one of Tarifa's beaches. Enjoy!
Hi! Thank you very much for your entry. However, I picked different images this time to go further. Thank you for understanding. Tomas
I took this photo some months ago on a trip to Copenhagen. The weather was miserable but nevertheless we went out to explore the city. It was freezing and started to rain and we almost decided to head back to the hotel but when we got to the beautiful Christiansborg Palace, we knew that we definitely made the right decision not to stay at the hotel that day!
Hi! Thank you very much for your entry. However, I picked different images this time to go further. Thank you for understanding. Tomas
