Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Europe.
See the winner of the last week´s European Thursday @gabrielatravels with the following entry:
What makes so special this place is not that it's literally on the edge of my country (Romania) and from the peak I could see Ukraine, but the shape of the lake is also my country's shape, which I call a real bliss. :) The Iezer Lake, Maramures, Romania.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #92 – winner announcement!
@jpphotography Australian Monday entry:
Sunset at Uluru (Ayers Rock). When I was travelling in Australia, I did not even plan on visiting Uluru. Why would anyone drive through the Outback for thousands of kilometres just to see a giant rock? But since my ride share from Cairns to Darwin wanted to see Uluru, I endet up there. I was not really expecting anything, but in fact, Uluru is so much more than just a "giant rock" and I had an incredible time in the national park!
@kekos Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
Enjoy one of the epics sunsets in Australia - Cable Beach is a 22 km (14 mi) stretch of white sand beach on the eastern Indian Ocean and the name of the surrounding suburb in Broome, Western Australia. This place is very popular in "winter" time where a lot of Aussies and bacpackers coming.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #92 - winner announcement!
@derangedvisions African Wednesday entry:
Wow, it has been a while since I participated here. This image is from Tanzania when I visited a Maasai church outside of Mtu wa Mbu Village. It was such an awesome experience and the people were so welcoming. We spent the day singing songs, dancing and having a great time with them. Then afterwards, we all gathered for some group pictures and more singing.

Panoramic view of the center of Vilnius, the capital and largest city of Lithuania. Vilnius is classified as one of the Gamma global cities and is known for beautiful architecture in its Old Town that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
The Church of La Sagrada Familia is one of the most known landmarks of Barcelona. It was designed by the Catalonian Architect Antoni Gaudí and it has been under construction for more than 100 years and it is still unfinished. The photo shows some of its tower in contrast with the balconies of one of the surrounding block of flats.
This place is called The Emerald Lake and it was formed due to the massive exploitation of basalt in that area. Or how I like calling it - the beautiful disaster. Because I consider it a rare thing after such activities to be born this beauty. And its colour is usually greener and cleaner, but when I visited it was during the storm and that made it look a little bit different than usual.
The Emerald Lake, Racoș, Romania.
Photo of the river Crnojevića flowing into the Skadar lake. Lake Skadar forms the border between Montenegro and Albania. The photo is edited into hdr and the landscape looks like a return to prehistoric times.
Straight from the telephone camera, the view from Miradouro dos Balcões. This viewpoint is at the the end of a nature trail called Levada dos Balcões, in Madeira, a Portuguese island. The nature here is simply amazing!

Green Door in Mandal, Norway
I captured this shot in the small Norwegian town of Mandal where I got dropped off when hitchhiking. Mandal is a hidden gem in the South of Norway, a very beautiful small town with some stunning Scandinavian architecture.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
In Europe, it's summer time and old regata boats are sailing now ! This one has been shot in south of France between Hyères and Porqueroles island, really known place for summer holidays. This is my contribution for this contest.
Lac d'Annecy - Lake Annecy
It is the third largest lake in France. Before moving to Canada I've been traveling a lot in France. I love the Alps.
Because of strict regulations since the 60's the lake is known as Europe's cleanest lake.
