@rinawonderlans Asian Sunday entry:
I woke up to see a sunrise, and luckily there is also a little rainbow over the sky, which is rare to see here. It's beautiful eventhought it's not a full one. The colorful sky, give a reflection color to the sea and sand. I took this pretty picture in Candidasa beach, a relaxed spot on the east Bali where you could snorkel.

@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:
Queenstown is a cute little town located on the south island of New Zealand. It build on the raffle of a gigantic lake and surrounded by the mountains. Here is a capture I shot while wandering around the lake. This man was sitting on the small pierre, chilling by the water under the branches of the tree. I wasn't going to Disturbed, so I waited patiently for him to stand up and leave!

Sometimes, if only for a moment, time seems to stand still. It’s amazing to think that 91% of the iceberg is hidden under the water. Iceberg floating of the coast of South East Alaska. It’s a single hand held exposure taken from a moving boat.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday #19 – winner announcement!
@mibreit-photo African Wednesday entry:
This is maybe the most photographed rock on La Digue. It looks like the back of an ancient animal in the sand of Anse Source D'Argent. It was really peaceful there in the evening when most of the day visitors left and people went off for dinner. If you don't fear the huge crabs that roam the beach and rocks after sunset, it's worth to stay :-)

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday #19 – winner announcement!
@itchyfeetdonica EuropeanThursday entry:
I shot this one in the village of Kinderdijk in the south of the Netherlands. This place is best known for its 19 iconic 18th-century windmills. I waited till sunset when everything was closed, and this beautiful waterway and the windmills were bathing in the golden rays.

Last Friday, I decided to drive to Elysian Park near downtown Los Angeles to take a photo on the 110 Overpass. This is a pretty well known spot in the city to get a great sunset view of the city. It definitely did not disappoint. All I needed for the shot was traffic, and this city has plenty of that!
Amazing shot Matt!
I was photographing the wedding of rock climbers, Jaclyn and Eric. We are fortunate to live close to Yosemite National Park and world class climbing. We did the easy hike out to Taft Point which overlooks all of Yosemite Valley. The whole valley transformed as the sun dipped low and lit up the river below. Jaclyn and Eric braved a shot on the ledge.
You deserve to win buddy! What a great image!!! Have a great weekend:)
Thank you Sebastian! I just checked out your skiing post and your shots are insanely beautiful!
Magical. I love the colors and the contrast between the rocks in the foreground and the soft scenery in the background.
Thank you so much Edward! This short easy hike is such a gift as there is little effort for such an epic reward!
Wow! Thant truly is an amazing image. Thank you for sharing with all of us! Tomas
Thank you Tomas! It's so nice of you to host these contests! I've really gotten to know some great photographer's because of you! And it's also so great to see everybody's locations. It's constantly adding to my travel list.
Great shot!
Thank you so much!
This photo is from 2009 when I was travelling the amazing landscapes in Southwestern US with my parents. Monument Valley certainly was one of the most amazing parts of this trip; the campground we were staying at with our RV offered a magnificent view over the rocky landscape.

Fabulous as always! Thank you for sharing with all of us. Tomas
I have wanted to explore Monument Valley for so long! I was recently watching some vloggers talking about their drive through it, I wonder if this is the same drive. Did you have to get a permit to drive this road? The colors you got are so rich, and I love how you composed the shot!
We had an RV at the time, so we did not drive ourselves on the dirt road but booked a tour with a jeep. The landscape is really amazing!
Thanks for the info! I would love to see more of your RV travels. I'm gearing up to do the same in a little 18 footer!
Travelling with an RV is amazing in the US and Canada, the roads and are wide and there are beautiful national park campgrounds that are perfect for RVs! And the landscape is so beautiful!
A photo back from when I started with landscape photography. My first real photo trip was to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I especially liked the area around Yaki Point, which is where I took this photo. It's a great viewpoint for sunrise photography and here I was lucky to get a break in the clouds just as the sun appeared over the horizon.
awesome photo.
Great photo as always. Thanks for sharing. Happy weekend:)
Beautiful but that does not come as a surpise! Have a great weeknd. Tomas
I was out shooting birds and landscapes for over 3 hours in the freezing temperatures of Northfield, Minnesota. After the sun had set -- from my perspective -- I decided to get out my drone to see if there were any more photo opportunities. I'm glad I did.

My entry for North America!
I caught the sunrise over Lake Huron in Oscoda, Michigan while we were driving south along the lakeshore early one morning. We found a small marina & beach to pull into just before the sun rose over the cloud-line that was over the lake (looks like a distant mountain range in the pic!). The beach had these fantastic ice formations & bubbles caused by the gentle waves of the lake. The fog over the water was mystical and was the cherry on top of this whole scene. It was a frigid 5 degrees and my hands were frozen, but the shots I got were worth it!

@joleenwillis - you have posted some great pics - following you now! Thanks for the upvote. :)
Stunning picture, thank you so much for sharing. Tomas

Great shot !
Thank you! Following!
Today’s photo is from state of Arizona. Colorado River created a few of natural gems and Horseshoe Bend is one of them. When you are standing at the edge (if you dare), you see how 300 meters vertical drop looks like.

The natural wonder caught at its best!
Thanks, glad you like it!
Crater Lake is Ameria's deepest lake, with a depth of about 1943 feet, and one of the most beautiful. I visited over Oregon over the summer with my family and we made the trip up the mountain to see it in all of its beauty.
Be sure to click on the image to view full screen!
Thank you for your submission, absolutely splendid! Tomas
Almost missed visiting this last year , great shot
A new day , a new beginning !
After my Dad retired they visited us in Texas, I took them for a 2 weeks road road trip to Miami, Florida. This photograph was taken at South Miami beach, I was lucky enough to capture the first lights of the day ! An unforgettable sunrise.
That looks so peaceful! Great capture. Tomas
yes it was :) , Thank you Tomas
Vancouver, British Columbia. I was fortunate to visit the viewpoint on Cypress Mountain on a foggy October morning outside Vancouver. The lookout provides an excellent view of the city and the bridges.
The sea of blood, what an image!
Thanks, @czechglobalhosts! :D
San Simeon Point
Along the Highway 101 at the California coast is San Simeon Point. Coming from the South you pass a little parking lot, which was pretty crowded when we arrived. You can watch huge sea elephants, which make funny noises, play in the sand and smell delicious. The coastline is just remarkable and worth every driven mile.
Athabasca Falls, Canada
The Canadian Rockies, a paradise for nature lovers. And most places likes this waterfall are not too difficult to explore, you won't need to leave the beaten track to see some of the most wonderful places to imagine.
Just remember, let us only leave footprints ourselves
Coba is just 40 km from Tulum and is the tallest Mayan pyramid (42 meters) in Yucatan. Its location is also very magnificent as it is surrounded by dense tropical forests. It makes worthwhile to visit it if you are in the region especially considering the fact that you can even climb on it (if you are fit enough!)
Want to go there!!!!! :-)
Great photo, thanks for sharing.
@dianomaya I ♥ Mexico:)
Thank you and have a nice weekend!
Two of Havana´s iconic features in one shot - El Capitolio, the former seat of the Cuban governent (until the Cuban revolution in 1959) and an American classic car :) Despite all the problems Cuba has been struggling with, it is a beautiful and very unique country that every traveler should visit. Photo taken in October 2017.
Sharing another photo while we were snowboarding at Whistler in Canada. The mountain was so big it seems like you own the whole mountain yourself. For someone like me who is a medium skilled boarder, it was perfect!
Wow, I am yet to visit Whistler . This photo is giving me some goals !
One of the most beautiful lakes in Canada is Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park. Turquoise water surrounded by white peaks and endless forests combine to a breathtaking landscape. You should rent a canoe to explore this stunning place.

Maligne is one of my favorites as well, beautiful !
Taken at Edmonton's Klondike days (now K-days) A summer festival based on the history of gold panning and rich gold placer deposits that initially attracted new settlements in the area. "Sunset riders" came after a long day at the fair and all the elements came together perfectly.
Great shot !
thank you :)
This is a photo of the Napali coast on the island of Kauai. This is a protected side of the island where no buildings are allowed to be built and to hike the entire coastline you must get a permit a couple months in advance. The coastline is amazing and there is a giant waterfall hidden deep in the coastline. One of a musts if you ever visit Kauai.
In San Francisco I lived in walking distance from the beach. Regularly after a long day's work I'd go for a stroll on the beach with my trusty camera dangling on my side. The skies are often times cloudy and colorful when the sun sets and I enjoyed taking these almost abstract photos of the beach and the ocean. The silhouette of the running girl with her dog (and the lone surfer in the water...) add a subtle human element to the scene.

Love the reflection , great shot !
thanks!
A road trip to Louisiana, a few years back make us go trough the whole state.
The garden of this plantation found along the way was just stunning, the atmosphere was so romantic. The fact that we were alone there was also magical.
We were driving from San Diego to Bullhead city when the Algodones Dunes showed up. It felt like you suddenly were transferred into another planet as the sand piles get higher on both sides of the road.

The Space Needle, the most iconic construction of Seattle and it is a landmark for this American city. It was built for the 1962 World ’s Fair and it is 184 meters high. At the top of the tower there is a rotating restaurant.
I really like the composition and the contrast between light and dark!
"Crack of Time"
I took this photo on a Chicago-Las Vegas flight, during which we were treated to superb aerial views of intricate landforms and colors. I would not be able to pinpoint an exact location (or even the state), though I wish I knew. :) Colorado? Utah?
*Update - Location is Lake Powell in Utah. Thanks, @derekkind!

On my way back from #Prague last year I spent a weekend in #NYC and here is the only picture of the One World Trade Center I took with my phone. Also this inst edited at all, I want sure if that was allowed with the contest.
Sailing on the Hudson River, on board of a taxi boat while I scoot for Manhattan skyline through the cabin.
Only the silhouettes of the building are visible as we are going against with the sun in front on this bright day.
Location: Manhattan, New York.
@czechglobalhosts wow nice post thank you

My entry is from vacation in Mexico. This is specially Tulum, Quintana Roo. Thereis beautiful, clean sea. Tulum is a pre-Columbian Mayan walled city, so for those who love history this is perfect place to visit.
This is a photo that comes from Times Square in New York City, USA. It was very rainy when we were visiting, so we sought shelter in many of the stores so as to not get soaked. The rain that you can see on the windows really highlights just how wet of a day that it was!
I visited New York a few years ago and was really impresses about the Architecture there. I am not a village guy, but it is an awesome experience to see the plenty high bulidings around there at downtown Manhattan !
Here I want to show you one of my favourite buildings...
The New Museum from SANAA Architects
It is located at 235 Bowery on Manhattan's Lower East Side as known as SoHo. It presents contemporary art from all around the world.
i wish each and every competitor of the photo challenge all the best,
may you give your best ,
i also hope to win therefore i will be giving by best
Just heads up the 3rd picture

I captured this stingray swimming around the shallow waters of 'The Exumas'. The combination of crystal clear blue water and white sand allows one to experience the diverse sealife this place has to offer without diving underwater.

a very good post
The larch valley is an incredible hike in Alberta, Canada. In the late fall, the larches turn yellow and the entire valley turns a golden colour. Combined with low lying cloud...it makes for some lovely shots.

Charles River, Cambridge, USA
This beautiful sunset over the Harvard Bridge, over the Charles River, in Cambridge, MA. A great place to take pictures, the cost of the river is also great for a run! This photo was taken approximately ate 4pm, on Nov 2016.
All photos are really excellent, as usual.
Shawnee, Kansas is a beautiful city, its nature is amazing, its people.
It's a rich environment.. I hope you like my photo
