7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday week #23 – winner announcement!
@h2odigital Asian Sunday entry:
This is a picture of The Petrona Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They were the tallest building in the world until 2004. I went all the way to the top and it was a good experience, but it was raining and the views weren't that good. However, the view of the building from groundlevel did not disappoint. It is an amazing building!

@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:
In Arrowtown (NZ), there is a 4x4 track going up in the mountains. You'll have to cross about 20 plus rivers to reach the end of it which is an old gold mining station. All along the way the scenery is just stunning. Location: Arrowtown, New Zealand.

@eaglest Tuesday of Antarctica and world´s oceans entry:
One of the most beautiful beaches of Tenerife is Playa de Almaciga. This coast with lots of cliffs and rocks and steep mountains is a stunning location. For this image I waited until the lights of the town of Almaciga started to shine. The glowing town makes a nice contrast to the dark mountains behind.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #23 – winner announcement!
@ansharphoto African Wednesday entry:
Dunes of Sossusvlei, Namibia. In Sossusvlei, the wonder is the land itself. The area is famous for its massive sand dunes, sculpted and smoothed by the wind in a desert completely devoid of surface water. The same winds that create the dunes also change them, and the sinuous lines and forms that amaze today may be different tomorrow. Even their colors change, the striking terra cotta easing into browns and beiges as the sun waxes and wanes.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday week #23 – winner announcement!
@liseykina European Thursday entry:
Warshaw, Poland. This in sunrise at the square in old town of Warshaw.
This part of town was completele reconstructed after WWII but despite the fact that there are no ancient buildings here is very cozy and nice. These bright colors in the dawn sky made me run out of the hotel room almost barefoot. Had to hurry to reach the desired point of shooting until the sky is not extinguished.

I love this Puerto Vallarta sign along El Malecon Boardwalk. This is a very popular place where tourists take photos non-stop. So during my visit I decided to get there earlier one morning to beat everyone and get a clean photo without people in it. The only drawback is that half the sign is still in shadows. I guess it's the tradeoff for an empty boardwalk.
That is a cool spot !
Sunset traverse up to the Athabasca Glacier. Life it seams is most precious in the quiet meditative space between destinations. The journey needs to be serene as the destination is ultimately fleeting. Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada

Beautiful image, fabulous scenery. Thank you for sharing with everyone.
There you are hehe, I like the sun rays.
This calm sunset was taken in Jasper National park, Alberta. The Rockies always has some amazing sights to pleasure the eye, each time having a different look or feel. The still lake offered the perfect reflection of the colorful skies.
So peaceful! Stunning entry. Jasper seems to be popular in today´s challenge:)....
hehe yes it would appear that way, it's no wonder, jasper is a stunning National park and is actually quite big with many wonders to offer, I've spent quite a bit of time there over the years and I'm not even close to having it all explored. Thank you for running the contest it really helps with exposure.

Lower Cathedral Lake after a Passing Thunderstorm
The Cathedral Peak and Lakes are one of the most photogenic places in Yosemite National Park. I've seen many photographs of amazing sunrises and sunsets of various hues and colors in the sky. I had to see it for myself so I did a two-day backcountry camping trip the lakes.
As soon as I finished pitching my tent a freak thunderstorm came but it only lasted for 10 or so minutes. Soon the clouds started to dissipate and it was during sun down. The skies began to take on multiple colors from yellow to orange and eventually to this reddish pink hue you see here.
Just shot of words! Amazing image!
A very cold and eerily quiet night time scene along the Chicago River. I had to wear layer upon layer upon layer to cope with the temperatures. Nothing like a mug of hot cocoa to warm me up though!
Chicago looks amazing at night and you captured it really well!
The beauty of the sky during sunset, coupled with the beauty of the glaciers and the mountains at Denali National Park, Alaska. Clicked this picture from the plane that takes you around Mt. Denali. Got some other good pictures but I like how the moon sneaked up in this one.
Beautiful image! Welcome to Steemit and my challenge! Tomas
Thank you Tomas.
A nighttime selfie with lightpainting on a large scale in Arches National Park, Utah. This was a fun one, and took a lot of time because I had to keep running around adjusting my lights (I was alone and that rock in the background was about a five minute walk away).
What a beauty!
Thank you! :)
This is the night Skyline of Vancouver in Canada. It is the most beautiful city I have ever visited. Vancouver is also the fifth best city in the world for quality of life. Right in front of the skyline waterplanes take off and land during the day...

Excellent!
New York. I could live here...
To me, this realisation is what makes for a perfect destination. The feeling that you belong somewhere, even when it is on the other side of the world, is why I travel. This shot is from Brooklyn looking back towards Manhattan during one of the best sunsets I've ever seen.
Welcome to the challenge! You have made some entrance with this amazing image. I just checked your portfolio which looks amazing. Hope to see you back! Tomas
Thank you very much! It's one of my favourite shots of one of my favourite cities!
Sunrise at Mono Lake use. This is amazing shallow saline soda lake in California with very interestion tufa-formations that looks like satrange castles and skyscrappers. The lake has no fish; instead it is home to trillions of brine shrimp and alkali flies
Wow. That looks amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us!
Sundance, Utah is where the famous Sundance Film Festival is held every year. It is also home to a mediocre ski resort, lol. I prefer to go snowboarding at Brighton or Powder Mountain. This picture was taken near the ski resort.
Thanks ever so much for your submission. Fabulous entry!
Thank you. We may get some snow today, if we do I want to get up the canyon and get some drone shots of the fresh snow on the trees.
A view of Seattle skyline. This city of the North-West of the USA (Washington State) is very beautiful, since its is surrounded by lakes and mountains. One of this lakes is shown in the photo.
Photo below is from Yellowstone National Park, which is well known for its geysers. But in fact it offers so much more. It has amazing lake, river, view on mountains, green landscape and majestic waterfalls. Today I am presenting Lower Yellowstone Falls. Enjoy in spectacular view!

Broadway New York City. This place made me so happy. Smiling people everywhere and there's so much to see in such a small area. I could just wonder all day across Broadway and never get bored.
You really cannot appreciate the scale and the beauty of Yosemite National Park without going there. Looking up at the peaks of the cliffs and around the valley floor, it makes you appreciate the effort that John Muir went to, to get this place protected.
The windward side of Oahu on the islands of Hawaii. This is one of my favorite sides of the island and in the months of December through February you can see whales migrating and jumping in the ocean. The mountain in the photo is Koko head Crater which is a beast of a hike as you walk up railway tracks to get a 360 degree view of the Eastern shore of the island.
Hi below is my entry for the North America contest:
Grand Canyon ~ The view of this river valley is magnificent and visually overwhelming. It was a cloudy day when I took this photo, the sun shine through the cloud and reflect on the valley like a ocean of light.
I love when the seasons are changing here. When the ice isn't fully formed still leaving opportunity for pictures of reflections. Right now everything is completely frozen over and we're in the middle of a blizzard. So this picture is making me think of gentler days :)
Great image, I am just missing the location:(
I guess I did forget to write that in. It's near Banff, Canada. Since I'm here....most of my mountain images are :)
Hi everyone! My entry is from Niagara falls.. I took this shot while passing by the fall in a boat. We all were distributed raincoats because once we approached the fall, it was like raining.. We had a crazy moment...
This image is taken off the shore of the west side of Oahu, Hawaii during a calm summer time where pods of dolphins often comes to rest and feed. They're normally very curious and would come check you out every now and then, especially the baby dolphin as they're probably thinking "what kind of fish is that?!"
Do I need to say anything? Hollywood! This is the photo of probably the most famous place in the United States! The Hollywood sign! I would say that everyone knows, thus no introduction needed. The photo is taken from the Los Angeles downtown area.
If you want to see it in full size, visit my Flickr page.
Puerto Morelos, a peaceful village on the Mayan Riviera. It makes a perfect spot if you’re looking for someplace quieter than crazy busy area with many tourists.But the most popular site of the town is the iconic leaning lighthouse. It was built as a testament to the strongest hurricane of the 1967 Atlantic season, Hurricane Beulah.
This photo was taken in Decorah, Iowa at Dunnings Spring Park. Which
has a nice lake that adorns the city, which is used for fishing and
other sports activities.
Lake Mary
This lake is located in Mammoth Lakes in the State of California in the USA. Beautiful landscape of this great lake with a beautiful environment of flora and fauna. The lake provides a great base for activities like fishing, viewing waterfalls, hiking and backpacking.
beautifull contest i like this typ of contest and enjoy it
I think that just by looking at the photograph you can already know the place of origin: Toronto, the largest city in Canada and the fifth largest city in North America. This photograph shows a cloudy afternoon in this beautiful and tourist city.
Can you be our guest on our live Steemit school Live discord channel ? Thank you
Nice photograph

The Statue of Liberty, in New York City, USA, is one of the most iconic statues in the world. Unfortunately, we can no more climb in it but we can still make the trip to the island or take the free ferry to pass by and take awesome pictures.
