This photo was taken at Castle Junction, near Banff, Alberta, in Banff National Park, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. I was lucky to be here on a crisp morning late in the autumn to witness a beautiful sunrise lightpaint this foreground of fresh snow.

Waking up very earlier while the weather still cool to be right at the top of Kings park from which the view over Perth is just magnificent. It look like the sky is burning under the pink - orange coloured flames announcing another hot day.

Sunset in New Zealand. This pebble beach was located just a stones throw from the campground I was staying at. The sunset from this beach on New Zealand's South Island is among the most beautiful that I have ever seen.

Rich and stunning sunrise colors at Hurghada, Egypt. Morning low waters made visible very nice sand patterns and some stones around, which made the general composition much more interesting. Wide angle lens and low shooting point.

@photovisions European Thursday entry:
One of those places in Norway which everyone should visit and experience - the way up the mountains called Trollstiegen - south from Åndalsnes in Rauma area. 11 hairpin bends brings us up to 852 m npm. On the top we can stop by visitors center and a steel walkways with great viewpoints on the whole road and the valley - seen on the photo. Next to the road we can see big waterfall Stigfossen by the old, stone bridge. One of those places where we can see real dramatic landscape of beautiful Norway.

View of the Manhattan skyline from the Central Park, New York City on a cloudy summer day. Located between the Upper West Side and the Upper East Side, the Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States, with over 40 million visitors annually.
It's been a while since my last entry. Here we go:
Half Dome @ Yosemite National Park
During our honeymoon we stopped at Yosemite for 3 days. Awesome experience to visit this hilarious beautiful place on heaven earth. Nature at its best. The famous Half Dome, featured in one of the most recognized photographs ever taken by Ansel Adams, is not also a nice object to photograph but also a famous climbing stop for the best in the word.
Have a great weekend everybody. Check out more images in my latest post.
The Chrysler Building is one of the most beautiful skyscrapers of Manhattan (New York City). Its Art Deco style is unmistakable, and it makes to pop up against the others skyscrapers in the area. With many of its little details, for example its crown and spire, which are the based of the image. And the gargoyles in the shape of radiator-cap that can be seen at the base of the image.
Statues Of Stone
Its a marvelous sight, the blue sky above is hosting gentle floating clouds. As the timeless stone statues are now basking in the morning light.
The precious water fills dry washes then slowly drains away, while the colorful wet rock
comes alive after a very stormy night.
This image was captured in Sedona Arizona USA.
Art deco sculpture on the roof of the Robey Hotel in Chicago with a view of skyline in the background. It's a really nice place to relax with a few cocktails while you enjoy views of the city.
Many don't make it past the stunning view of Lake Louise and stay at the front of the lake. It's just as spectacular taking the trail to the back of the lake. We continued up the hill towards the Tea House nestled somewhere in the woods a few hours walk away from the main tourist area.
In New Yok, New York, USA, everywhere we look, we see something amazing or out of the ordinary.
Central park is a breath of fresh air in the middle of all the buildings.
Mesquite Sand Dunes in the Death Valley Nationalpark.
The tallest dune in this stunning desert setting is the Star Dune with a height of 50 meters. Some tourists had boards with them to surf down the dunes.

Ek Balam Pyramid, Mexico
The Ek Balam pyramids are less visited but not less impressive than many other Mayan ruins in Yucatan. The lack of tourists makes the charm of this place. Contrary to more popular sights such as Chichen Itza it is actually possible to climb the pyramids!

Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles is a fantastic structure. The architect is Frank Gehry who also designed the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and collaborated with Vlado Milunić on the Dancing House in Prague.
I left work one day and there were incredible cloud formations in the sky, so my buddy and I decided to drive up to Heublein Tower in north Connecticut. It involved a bit of a hike, and on our way down I peeked my head through some branches and this is the sight I saw... thank you

New York City
Last year I was lucky enough to visit Ney York city. Amazing city, in EVERY sense. This picture was taken from the "top of the Rock". You can see the majestic Empire State and, on the background, arises the relatively new "One World Trade Center" in lower Manhattan direction.
Taking the ferry back from Vancouver Island to Vancouver I was absolutely enjoying every moment of the sun slowly disappearing behind those many layers of mountain peaks.
What an awesome pic. Just a shame it is not fulfilling the requirements of the contest - short of 30-word description. Thank you for your understanding. Tomas
