Hi fellow Steemians, I've posted plenty of shots from Bolivia including flamingos and volcanoes, but I just don't get enough of them. I hope you feel the same! :) I took this photo in Southwest Bolivia, close to Chilean border. During that trip, I was stunned by the breathtaking wild nature every day.

Coming back to frozen Baltic Sea and amazing views which you could see during very cold and very calm periods of winter. Very low shooting angle and very wide angle lens again bringing quite unusual overall perspective for the scenery. Enjoy the scenery!

Camels in the Sahara. On the last day of my trip to the Sahara, our guide readied the camels early in the morning. To give the camels a rest, we all agreed on walking back to Merzouga instead of risking another bumpy ride.

@mibreit-photo European Thursday entry:
Here I have a fresh photo from the Austrian Alps. I took it last weekend on a hiking trip in the Stubai Valley. It was a wonderful calm morning. After thick clouds had still obscured this view throughout the night I was very happy to wake up at 4am to a clear sky. It was pure magic.

Isla Saona is a 42 sq-kilometer Caribbean oasis off the southern coast of the Dominican Republic.
It is a government protected nature reserve and a part of the Parque Nacional Cotubanamá, so no buildings are allowed there.
The Island is known for its beautiful beaches, and has been used on a number of occasions by film-makers and advertisers, made famous in scenes from Hollywood movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" and Bounty chocolate bar advert.
What a healthy discussion your entry raised. I might have to re-visit the "rules" again to draw some lines:)..... To be honest I have not been paying attention to it much as of lately.
Agreed @czechglobalhosts!
Your contest, your rules! But looking forward to hearing how your reflection on the "rules" go.
Irrespective your contest is awesome and gets really cool photos from around the world every day of the week!
Cheers!
Hey really cool photo!
However, the Caribbean including the DR is part of North America so best to compete with this photo on the North American contests day.
There are little rules here but good to stick with the basic regional breakdowns.
Here is a map from wiki:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_America
Hey, thanks for the info, there were some discussions about what contests these Latin American countries belong to. Geographically, they belong to North America but culturally, they are more of South America, which is why Tomas accepted these photos to both contests.
North America
North America is a continent entirely within the Northern Hemisphere and almost all within the Western Hemisphere; it is also considered by some to be a northern subcontinent of the Americas. It is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, to the west and south by the Pacific Ocean, and to the southeast by South America and the Caribbean Sea.
North America covers an area of about 24,709,000 square kilometers (9,540,000 square miles), about 16.5% of the earth's land area and about 4.8% of its total surface.
North America is the third largest continent by area, following Asia and Africa, and the fourth by population after Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Hey thanks @wikitextbot! That is super cool!
Awesome shot. This looks like such a nice relaxing place to lay out and soak up some sun.
Photo of a sunset over Caracas. The Venezuela capital is a valley located at 900 metes above sea level. This photo shows some of the mountains that surround the city, they are shown like in layers that produced a nice visual effect.
Wow, that is a stunning shot!
Silhouettes of three hikers in the Cordillera Blanca near Huaraz, Peru. Stunning snow capped peaks in all directions make this one of the best places for hiking in the Peruvian Andes.
Awesome Peru photo mate! Beautiful shot!
That is a wonderful image. Thank you so much for sharing.
Cows in the Andes, Ecuador
Hiking to the El Altar crater lake was one of the most challenging hikes that I have done, but I was rewarded with beautiful views over the Andean landscape. These cows seemed to like the views as well!
I have also posted this photo on my blog.
A nice place to be a cow! Cool photo!
What a fantastic image!
Patagonian lakes by drone photography are awesome.
The glacial lakes of Patagonia (in South America) are some of the most beautiful places on Earth. Add new technology, in this case drones and we can capture some interesting perspectives. In this case a view overlooking lake-side cliffs (with beautiful rocks) looking into the beautiful waters below.
Original photo that is also on my blog.
Thank you so much for your participation and your drone entry.
Thank you!!
Cheers!
These beautiful sunsets you can appreciate every day in the beautiful Bay of Juangriego on the island of Margarita, Venezuela. These are considered one of the most beautiful sunsets in the country in conjunction with those of the city of Barquisimeto. In this bay you can spend a very special afternoon as it has many restaurants on the shore of the beach where you can eat and appreciate these sunsets. If you come to Margarita do not forget to go through Juangriego.
That sure is a stunning sunset!
Cerro Castillo - Chile
This is for sure one of the places in South America where I've experienced a relationship of hate and love for mountains. Hate, because climbing to the base was difficult. Love, because the view was amazing.
That sky is awesome looking.
That looks like an awesome place.
Thank you!
This is a reminder that we should always be careful while driving, especially on zig-zag roads. This picture was taken in Argentina, in the Cafayate region. The scenery is beautiful, the sinuous roads are so cool to go through but people drive like crazy.
Well, the scenery sure is awesome!
Today I want to share a photograph I recently took in a section of the city of Porlamar on the Isla de Margarita (Venezuela). The clouds in the sky caught my attention and, along with the colors of the sunset behind the mountain, they were a very nice combination to appreciate.
What a beautiful sky! Well done.
View of the summit of the Peito de Pombo("Pigeon Chest"). Located in the region of the mountain range of Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After 3 hours climbing the trail in the rainforest of the Environmental Protection Area of Vale do Peito do Pombo near Sana: the Small village where only 2 thousand families live. This is the area of greatest concentration of biodiversity in the world. And also famous for its toboggan-shaped waterfalls, a true natural water park.
That hike sure was worth it. Tremendous place!
Yes, it's worth it! I've gone up more than 50 times and every time I feel the same emotion. Thank you very much for the comment.
Wow.. All capture so unique thanks for sharing..

On the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay lies Iguazu Falls. Together the falls make up the largest waterfall system in the world. This photo is from the Brazilian side of the waterfall.
Dog and coffee beans
The dog is chilling on the drying coffee beans in the farm (finca) 'la Candelaria' in Minca, Colombia. Both the coffee and the cacao from this farm were really good.
This beautiful view that I show you today corresponds to Los Roques (Venezuela). This is one of the favorite places for tourists who come to this country, I would say that the most beautiful thing is its blue tones for each place you go. This shot was in the Cerro Roque (highest point of the island) must climb to appreciate all the landscape that this beautiful archipelago gives us.
My photograph is of the national park "Laguna de la Restinga" (Isla de Margarita - Venezuela) taken from the bridge over the lagoon. This park forms the union between the western and eastern part of the island. The lagoon consists mainly of mangroves and inhabit a large number of fish. As for tourism, there is a boat rides service by the lagoon.
🚢"View from the Ferry"🚢
What I always like about travel are the routes, it is a very special sensation of nostalgia and joy. This photo was from one of my trips back to my island from the mainland in Puerto La Cruz. I hope to travel again like those days.
Caracas capital of Venezuela, seen from the Warairarepano cable car. Once I was visiting the capital and one of the best things I did was climb the cable car to the highest part of the city, and I did not want to miss the opportunity to take this fantastic view from the cable car almost complete city . This picture was taken with a samsung camera.
These are some awesome collections, loved it.
Nice contest.
