Turtles are often threatened species over the world. On my Island, Mayotte, many turtle poachers kill around 500-1000 turtles per year. Only females killed during they try to go on the beach to give eggs. Local authorities don't do the job to protect them and now Seapheard organisation try to look after them.

Scuba diving in Great Barrier Reef was wonderful experience. The world's largest coral reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands. The sad thing is that big part of reefs are dying becouse of global warming.

Lake Titicaca can be considered as the border between Peru and Bolivia. It is the highest navigable lake in the world and a national reserve that is the home of rare species of aquatic animals like giant frogs. I haven't had the chance to see them unfortunately.

To be frank with you, I don't know exactly where this sunset was taken. It was for sure somewhere around Padar - Rinca - Komodo. All magnificent places where we cruise on our travel back in 2017.

Flying around Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand. An island very well traveled by backpackers and sailors alike! The island is known for its fresh beaches and fine wines. DJI_0049.JPG

Slowly slowly, we can go back to a forgotten freedom. For reasons defying all logic and any marks of reflection, therefore military reasons, the seashores have been removed from our framework of freedom in recent weeks. It is now time to regain possession of our sea and our freedom. Here is my entry.

One of the Ocean's wonders: marine life. This photo was taken on a whale spotting activity in Açores, Portugal. Unfortunately I'm yet to see my first whale... but a pack of dolphins decided to show up and give some joy to everyone on the boat!

Nusa Penida in Indonesia

The ocean has a different meaning for everyone. For some it is a huge playground, for others it is essential for survival. As for the locals on Nusa Penida who need it as a source of food.
