WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dali-gis:

The "Narodni Divadlo" which overlooks the Vltava, just in front of the "Legion" bridge. There, the building is superb as much from the outside as from the inside. Its cultural and symbolic importance is central during the last hundred years of Czech national history, especially during the second half of the nineteenth century during the Czech National Revival.

When the sun sets in front of St Vitus Cathedral, the façade glows with golden hues. Even though the first edifice was erected in the tenth century, then replaced, to be later incorporated in the building we see today, the front of the Cathedral was only completed in the early part of the twentieth century. As far as I am concerned, it was well worth the wait!

What a great close up pic! The color of it will glow perfectly on today´s contest cover. Have a great day. Tomas

Thank you! You have a great day too 🙂

Front view of the Church of St. John the Baptist (Kostel Sv. Jana Křttile in the Czech language), the dominant religious buildings of the little Silsian town of Velke Hostice. I took this image a few days during a bike ride on the Grand Silesian Bike Lane.

A beautiful and calm river in Písek. The picture was taken after I had a 1.5$ pint with my boyfriend and his dad. I love Czech Republic, their cheap beers, and their beautiful nature :-)

Yep, the beer is the best:)....

For sure! :-)

This is one of the great shots i made from the wine salon at valtice castle, czech republic.
This wine salon is so unique that it is not common everywhere.
Pay something small and enjoy the different taste of the salon. Assortment of wines; properly aged red wines😍

You have so many awesome shots from this wine salon. When I bring my wife out to visit the Czech Republic, we are going to have to meet up and go on a tour of all of these awesome places.

Definitely brother. It is an awesome place

Photo in sepia tone of Old Town Square. In the image, it can be seen the beautiful Gothic towers of Church of Our Lady before Týn. The buildings of the photo are in Gothic and Neo-Renaissance. At the left of the image there is the Kinský Palace, which is an art museum.

Great shot. I love the sepia edit giving it an older feel to it.

Thank you for your nice comment. I like the sepia tone in general, because it gives a special mood to the image, and certainly the "older feel" as you mentioned.

The Chodov Fortress is the most significant monument of the Prague Southern Town. The original medieval fortress was, years 1676-1728 the castle was rebuilt in the Baroque style. Later the building was used as a farm and today operates as a cultural center.

When we were in Loket, we couldn't visit the castle as it was closed. From the outside it is a beautiful castle, set an a fantastic scenery. We walked through the whole history center of the town and saw the castle from different angles. I will certainly visit it next time I'm in Loket.

Shame it wasn´t opened during your visit and hope you can get back there one day.

Lom Janičův vrch , also known as the flooded Lom u Mariánského mlýna, is a natural monument and a flooded limestone quarry located approximately in the middle of the cadastral area of Mikulov in Moravia, the natural planting of the fish caused a reduction in transparency to 1.5 meters.

I had to come back to Prokop Valley! The sceneries are just too beautiful to be ignored. This time I came back with the idea to get some 'old postcard' look. I am not sure I succeded but it certainly was fun.

I am truly sorry if the aim of this photo-challenge is to shown landscapes or buildings, which Prague and the Czech Republic has a LOT to show off with, BUT, when I read this challenge I immediately associated it with the thing I remember most of Prague in contrast with the other several capitals of Europe I was fortune enough to visit in the summer of 2014.

The one thing I still have in my retina and ears is this sweet old man, playing his old saxophone, playing it like it was his last time, giving it all, with his eyes closed, not interacting with the people for the tip, just absorbed in his world, his mind and soul, playing it like an angel.

If you go to Prague, which I encourage you to do so, I am sure that the one thing you will most enjoy will be the vast street artists, musicians, painters, acrobats. And later, you would look up and see, of course, its beautiful buildings and landscapes like you would too on the rest of Europe.

Pablo

Pd: I hope you recognize it is Prague because of the House of Fashion on the background or the old man´s newspaper.

Thank you so much for your entry! Does not have to be landscape or a monuments spot. Yours fits very well into the challenge as it gives some great recommendations and an inside look into the culture.

That is great! Thank you! I will try to participate more If I have material to share!

Not sure if world-famous but for sure world-unique Adrspach Rocks in Teplice region are must visit in czech republic for sure. There are actually many rock pieces very close to this one which have much more spectacular shape, but I liked the whole scene here. With the sunset and the perfect green grass :)

What an amazing place that must be... I still have to make my way over there.

John Lennon Wall
Art is ephemeral but art is powerful. Thanks John for your wisdom and your peace's messages. Your spirit 'll live forever !
The wall is very colorful, better during the day than at night but there are less people at night.
Being a fan of John Lennon, was so pleased to have seen the wall and felt the love from all the people taking photos and just enjoying the artwork.
