Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rockmen:

Such a solid and classic bridge. Can't believe it's more than 700 years' old. We had crossed it again and again during our time in Prague, and it's constantly with lots of bustling activities: venders selling all kinds of touristy souvenirs, people taking selfies and family photos, those who admired the statues along both sides. Indeed, standing in the centre of the bridge, be it in front of you or behind you, you can't resist to take a photo of all that majestic architecture on both sides. The bridge consciously or unconsciously renders one a sensation of medieval aura, no wonder we consciously or unconsciously walked through it time and again. The only drawback was it's really overcrowded, which deprived me the opportunity of standing there quietly to daydream a bit, ha ha, reminiscent of kings and castles centuries ago.

I rewarded @rockmen entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

If you go to visit Kost Castle, you can not miss the Plakánek Valley, which is adjacent to the castle. It is one of the most beautiful valleys of the Bohemian Paradise and perhaps one of the most beautiful in the whole Czech Republic.

I think it's about a time to feature a pice of unspoiled Czech nature. Great image! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. I am wishing you a great start of the week. Tomas

Beautiful golden sunset over the countryside surrounding the Silesian city of Opava. I took this image just a few days ago when walking my friend´s dog. These days, the sun sets as early as at around 6 pm here.

The best place to feel the real Prague. Narrow streets with beautiful architecture. The square if filled with classic Czech architecture. well maintained and with lots to see , hear and taste. Prague and its historic center are really beautiful. All the ancient buildings are well cared for, the streets are clean and the environment is definitely pleasant.

A charming bridge, but beautiful decorative figures and details. However, there are many people passing it every day, so it's getting a bit cramped at some times of the day. But otherwise also great views, as well as different entertainment and artists on the bridge. Certainly a must see if you visit Prague.👍🏻

A well known attraction of the Lucerna Passage in Prague is the statue of the famous artist David Černý, which shows the Czech national saint riding on a horse hanging downwards. The sculptor David Černý was born in Prague in 1967 and created this sculpture in 1999.

Interesting way of riding a horse! Not standard thinking of the skulprot.

Cesky Krumlov
What a beautiful little town! UNESCO protected and a definite must see. No words or pictures can really do this place any justice but if you are staying in Prague for more than a few days and want to get out and see more of the country, It is a quaint little town on the banks of the Vltava River with it's own castle and numerous gift and antique shops. The roads are all cobbled and the alleyways are picturesque.

Planetarium in Bubenec, Stromovka, Prague
P1090278.JPG
This institution has been operating since 1960. The founder, owner and operator is the city of Prague. Prague also operates two observatories.
The purpose of these devices is primarily the popularization of science, especially astronomy.
The Planetarium is world-class and uses several unique devices. The photo shows that it is sensitive to the park environment.

I worked in Stromovka for several years, but I never photographed this building. Nice composition. Just a little advice on Sequoia in the bottom left corner. I would either put it out of the picture or more to the center. It would be enough a few centimeters, this is too near the edge.

Tourists have been disappointed since January that the Astronomical Clock at Old Town Square has been out of operation for renovations. The city has now put up a temporary replacement so visitors can at least see what the original looked like. A modern LED screen on the tower of Old Town Hall provides Prague residents and tourists with the experience of the astronomical clock.

The Dancing House is a famous local landmark. It is a building with a very unique, modern design. It isn’t worth a special trip, but if you are already nearby, it is worth a visit to take a picture with the building in the background.

Strahov Monastery
What I liked most was the library, if you want to take pictures you have to request it when buying the entrance below, otherwise you will not be allowed to do them. I do not want to reveal it I think there are things that one has to do with their eyes and telling everything does not make sense. You will like.

This image is approaching sunset in a summer Prague, opposite the Botel Restaurant Matylda on the Vltava River and the Jiràskuv Most, to get to the other side of the river where the white buildings and one side of the Petrin hill stand out.

The view is amazing! This is a rooftop bar on top of the U Prince Hotel in Old Town Square in Prague. A great place to look over the rooftops of Old Town Square and enjoy a cocktail. We just had drinks there with a local friend and did not eat any food. But the food being brought to surrounding tables looked delicious. This is a great spot to enjoy the beauty of Prague from a higher viewpoint. They will not let you just go up there to take a look though. You will need to be seated at a table and it will be well worth it. Be sure to check it out!

St. Vitus Cathedral
Simply impressive, gloomy, magical, fairytale, imperious !! The oldest European Gothic cathedral is truly a gem! The Prague skyline would not be the same without this architectural marvel! Both the exterior and interior deserve a careful visit. Beautiful stained glass windows - worth seeing and walking around.Quite croded with tourists though.

This beautiful church is located in the Mala Strana district. The church itself is already a picture, but also the buildings around it are very beautiful. The St. Nicholas Church is a church that faces the Old Town Square in Prague. The building was majestic baroque architecture and two towers were impressive buildings.

The Astronomical Clock
No visit to Prague is complete without watching the clock. But not just any clock. This clock is unique in the information it provides. You don't have to wait for the hour to chime, its all over in a flash. what you do need to do is pick up a leaflet explaining exactly what the clock shows in order to make the most of your visit.

Wow, I've seen so many photos of the astronomical clock posted here, but this is definitely one of my favourites. Great pic, well done! ;)
