Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rockmen:
My hike up the hill to the Strahov Monastery was well worth it! This place is beautiful. Check out the library. The photos cannot justify how beautiful that place was.
I rewarded @rockmen entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Journey to Heaven. The procession of clergy at Prague Castle goes to the Archbishop's Palace. I captured this film while visiting Prague Castle with my parents in 2013. We also visited Charles Bridge and the Old Town that day.
Cesta do nebes. Průvod duchovních na Pražském hradě směřuje do Arcibiskupského paláce. Tento snímek jsem zachytil při návštěvě Pražského hradu se svými rodiči v roce 2013. Prohlédli jsme si ten den i Karlův most a Staré město.
View of Prague from Dívčí Hrady, a little hilly area located on the border between the Prague neighborhoods of Smíchov and Radlice. Since the place is quite elevated, it offers some nice panoramic views of the city.
Old Town Square is one of the most visited places in Prague, so there are a lot of activities specifically addressed to tourists, in particular there you can find many different street artist. One of then is the soap bubbles, they can form large bubbles with strange shapes.
Saint John of Nepomuk, anniversary
Saint John of Nepomuk was killed March 19, 1393 and proclaimed saint March 20, 1729. He is one of the Czech provincial patrons. It is also popular in the world. 60,000 of his statues were reportedly carved. This Baroque statue stands in the area of the Břevnov Monastery.
Cesky Krumlov
Village suspended in time where every corner deserves a photo. The historic center is located in a bend of the Moldava river that forms a kind of islet. The streets are full of beautiful houses with the inevitable shops and restaurants for tourists. But all well kept that does not detract from the charm of the place. Beautiful the castle. Many courtyards and the possibility of taking photos from above. It is a treasure chest of beauty.
The Strahov Monastery is very interesting as well as a museum and a spiritual complex. On the territory of the monastery is the oldest monastery library, which stores more than 130,000 copies of the oldest books.
St. Vitus Cathedral
This is clearly one of the places you MUST go to see if you are in Prague. It is historically significant but it is also breathtakingly beautiful. I imagine there are a lot of photos of this structure every time there is anything about Prague. It is just something you really need to see for yourself and experience for yourself. The stained glass, the architectural design, the craftsmanship. I really can't say enough good things. If you are in Prague, swing by. You will be glad you did.
After a good walk in the heights of Prague with great views of the city. This monastery is very beautiful and sits on a hill with very nice views of Prague. The monastery buildings are impressive, as is the view back down to the river Vltava. We opted not to pay to go in to the chargeable parts and instead sat in another restaurant with a special beer and enjoyed the views.
I like walking along the embankment of the Vltava River in Prague. There are many places of entertainment and landscaped parks. Very expensive hotels and restaurants. It is beautiful here at any time of the year.
Prague Castle
You should also have experienced this once when you are in Prague. It is quite a climb, or via the stairs, or via the golden tail, diagonally up. The rest of the castle on the outside and the courtyard can be visited free of charge. However, you do not just come in. There is security, which you search before you are admitted. Then there is the surprise in the courtyard: the Church.
I can only watch and enjoy the work of others as I have never been to your country! Lovely photo you made there!
Only been to Prague once almost 20 years ago... and there's no way I could dig out those photos. I don't even know where I could begin, plus I'm on the road and don't have my old computor with me!
I'll just look too 😁!
