WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all excited about the upcoming weekend (and the current growth of Steem too :)) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. Just make sure you are familiar with the new rules and conditions of this photo challenge:

AS THIS PHOTO CHALLENGE HAS BEEN INCREASINGLY POPULAR ON STEEMIT AND THE NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN CONSTANTLY GROWING, I CANNOT UVPOTE ALL OF THEM ANYMORE, UNFORTUNATELY. THEREFORE, STARTING NOW, ONLY THE BEST 15 ENTRIES OF THE DAY WILL BE UVPOTED. OUT OF THOSE 15 PHOTOS, HOWEVER, I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE THE WINNER OF THE DAY WHO WILL BE REWARDED WITH A BIGGER UVPOTE. THE WINNING PHOTO WILL BE ALSO FEATURED AS THE COVER PHOTO FOR THE CHALLENGE POST THE NEXT DAY, TO GIVE THE WINNER SOME MORE EXPOSURE AND PUBLICITY. HOPEFULLY, THESE UPDATES WILL ALSO MOTIVATE ALL CONTRIBUTORS TO SUBMIT THEIR VERY BEST SHOTS.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

Standing 63.5 meter tall, the Petrin Lookout Tower is very hard to fit in a photo and it takes some pacing around to make it work. Built in 1891 as both observation as well as transmission tower, it soon became one of the most iconic landmarks of Prague. Image taken in May 2015.

There are 30 statues lined across the Charles Bridge. When I walked across the bridge they all caught my attention and I stopped to study them, but none were more striking to me than this one, the Crucifix and Calvary. Even to the non-religious like me, it's hard to deny the power and beauty of this statue.

Thank you for your submission Matt.

People flooding out of the Charles Bridge just before sun set. I will say, it is shocking how many people can stand on the bridge at one time with out it collapsing. It is a really crazy things to see.

Oh, well, must be its secret ingredient. The legend says that used egg yolks to mix with the mortar:)

PS: I will use your entry as the introduction tomorrow.

The Grandhotel Pupp is a luxury hotel located in Karlovy Vary, spa town situated in western Bohemia. The hotel hosts the annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Also knows from many films like Casino Royale andThe Philanthropist... The hotel has phenomenal architecture. If you can´t afford to go to sleep there, go for coffee and cake at least;)

Its really beautiful....

The combination of different architectonic styles is one of the main interesting features of Prague. The photo shows the façades of different buildings, painted in different colours, in a street next to the River Vltava.

Thank you so much for featuring my yesterday shot!! Today, I prepared something different. This is me enjoying a panoramic view of the Brno Reservoir. Located just outside Brno, the second largest city of the Czech Republic, the reservoir was built in 1940. It has had several different functions since then but it currently serves primarily as a recreation area for residents of the city. Photo taken in February 2017.

This photo was taken at the crop field in Ondrejov.
Ondrejov is small town - more like a weekend town just 30 kilometers from Prague. This small place has so many off road bicycle routes but also road routes. And during the weekend this place is full of bicycle, but during the working days(mon-fri) it's usually deserted. Worth a visit if you have time and like to drive bike in nature.

Saint Vitus Church Prague Castle, Czech Republic

This picture was taken in Prague last summer. The castle up on the hill is so historical and amazing. I am so impressed about the history of this country and how beautiful the historical buildings there:)

Great shot! Thank you so much for sharing. Tomas

Like the two random people in this photo, this spot on the steps leading up to St. Peter's Basilica in Prague is a fantastic spot to watch the sun rays dance across the city. As the clouds move around, new parts of Praha are revealed and your eyes will be drawn to these areas, screaming for exploration. It's very easy to day dream and lose a lot of time from this exact spot.

Liberec Ice Wall

This is a quite unusual shot that can also be taken in the Czech Republic. Specifically in the center of Liberec. This ice wall for climbers was built from the original quarry as a place for active relaxation. I even made Post about it - fell free to look

I took this photo in October 2016. This is the Dancing House in Prague, its a very particular because the building has a rotation which makes it very dynamic. It was designed by Croatian architect Vlado Milunić in co-operation with Canadian Frank Gehry. The building has a forced circulation of air, which makes the Interior more comfortable for occupants. Fortunately, because and positioned in a very busy intersection!

Great entry! Thank you so much for participating. Tomas

Thank you Tomas! Is beautiful your initiative and I love Prague :) Isa

Music.jpg

Music everywhere

I love music and there is always someone playing music on the streets in Prague. I always stopped to listen to them and it was always good. It made me feel happy and uplifted.

Yep, very typical of Charles Bridge.

Yes, this is lovely. Thank you!

If street photography is what you love, then Prague is definitely the place you should explore. The colorful houses to the vibrant charm in the autumn, Prague is every explorer's dream. Ofcourse, knowing that Prague can be very crowded because of becoming a famous tourist destination. The best bet is to venture out in early mornings for those perfect shots.

This is a picture from the temporary National Museum at prague. It is not the main buliding at the Wenzelplace, because the main museum is now under construction till the end of this year... I really like the architecture, because of the glass part on the ground floor it seems that the steel construction is hovering above.

Clementinum. Unique historical place, in the center of Prague, 5 minutes from the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. The Clementinum has been remodeled many times. New rooms and churches were built in. You can visit here. The mirror chapel. University library. The astronomical tower. The Church of Christ the Savior. Mathematical Museum. Room of the meridian. But up to now, this complex has lived in excellent condition, it occupies the 2 nd place on the scale after the historical complex - Prague Castle.

Great entry Jul. Thank you so much for sharing. Tomas

Another sharing of the Prague Castle with a different angle. Depending where the sun shines, you can see different aspects clearly of the castle. There are loads of details on the building. Check out the window, it is actually patterned and coloured. Its very pretty

Hi, thank you so much for your entry. However, in order to qualify for the challenge it does need to have a description of minimum 30 words. Thank you for your understanding. Tomas

The charm of this or that place is covered in small things. Sometimes these are inexplicable things. Sound, smell, light, some wicket or a comfortable path through the courtyard, a shadow from the trees and the expression of people's faces. Czech Republic I like because of a lot of such nice little things (both in cities and villages).
For example, in Prague, even the sewer hatch is beautiful :-)
Really, at least in the frame and on the wall of the apartment :-)

I corrected my mistake "30 words" :-)
In general, I like a lot and write beautifully, but nobody reads my posts. So I enjoy reading other talented authors! Good luck and peace to all!

So many beautiful things to see there. Thanks for running this comp.

This photo was taken in the centre of the Prague last winter. Had a nice time there!

This building struck me with some beautiful absurdity. Many ornaments, interesting architecture and inappropriate (in my opinion) gray color. I would repaint it in another - more "cheerful" and bright color. I do not like the color gray.
But even in a luscious color the building attracted my attention.
