Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

Hus's pulpit (Husova Kazatelna) is a natural monument of an area of 9.07 ha near the village of Žemličkova Lhota in the district of Příbram. The main object is rocking stone named as the area where it is located. It is the largest rocking stone in the Czech Republic measuring 4 x 2.5 and a height of 2.7 meters. There are several other rocks with interesting names like Devil's stone, mushroom, or a loaf of bread.

The National Theater in Prague is a neo-Renaissance building opened in 1881. It was reconstructed after a fire and reopened in 1883. After a long time, I got to take pictures of Prague and created some interesting photographs. Perhaps I waited a long time in the photo of the theater because, since 2012, the building was under reconstruction.

The beauty of this building due to its golden roof just stands out and can be seen from a very far distance. What a great entry for today´s contest. Thank you for your support and have a great Sunday.

The St. Adalbert Church in Opava half-lit by the yesterday sunset. Located in the eastern part of the Lower Square (one of the two main squares in the historic center of the city), the St. Adalbert Church is a majestic Baroque church built between 1675 and 1681. Adalbert is the English version of the Czech name "Vojtech" so the Czech name of the church is "Kostel Sv. Vojtecha" (= St. Vojtech Church).

Front view of the Straznice Chateau located in the South Moravian town of Straznice. The origin of this majestic building dates back to the 13th century when there was a water castle built on the site before it was reconstructed several times. Its current neo-Rennaisance appearance is from the 19th century. The chateau is sourrunded by beautiful English-style park and garden.

Iron lace

Today I again present a photo from the cycle masterpieces of arts and crafts.During the tour I liked this gate and I fell behind the group. So I had to catch up with them.

It would be interesting to know what the symbol means in the center of the gate?

An alternative view of the Charles Bridge (Karlův most) from Malá Strana side of the Vlatava river, in Prague. The Charles Bridge is one of the most famous (and crowded) places in the Czech Republic.

I found this old photo in my blog. I visited Olomouc in 2007 when I was living nearby and visited the Cathedral Saint-Venceslas just when the wedding season was in full swing and "stole" this picture from a newly wedded couple, who, I hope, are still together and happy after all this time :)

Great shot. The lighting is really cool in there.

We were in Prague for the first time two weeks ago! Certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe! Since we are not far away from Austria, we will visit Prague again soon.

Last time in Prague, we tried to copy the photograph on the famous "Beatles Cover". When I set up the camera and positioned those guys, pretty much all the people waited patiently and enjoyed the show. Only this older guy, did not mind the whole thing at all and crossed the street. I did not mind it either. Later when I edited the pictures I had to laugh^^
Great moment!

That is awesome. That old dude adds a real nice touch to it.

Thank you! He really did. Sometimes you just can't plan things like that. I think the Beatles would have loved to have him on their cover!

That is awesome! I like your little play.

Thanks! It was great fun ;)

A walk through the city of Kutna Hora was a continuation of the excursion program, which began with a visit to the castle of Český Sternberg.
The town is famous for its silver mines, the deposit of which was discovered here as far back as the 13th century. There was a silver monk. It is here that a silver deposit was found, with the subsequent foundation of a mining community, and later a city named Kutna Hora, which, in translation Czech means "monastic robe".

Even though my days are numbered in Czech Republic, i will never cease my participation in this contest; the love i have developed for this country is unfathomable; indeed this is a country worth living and a place worth visiting; i will make it a must to visit this beautiful country any time there is the chance. South Moravia and for that matter Lednice and Valtice will always be a cool place for visit.
The foto for this entry was taken at the Lednice castle / palace

Enjoy whatever you have left. I am glad to hear you had a blast while studying/living here.

Lom Homolák
We go to the water, a lot of weights are visible. The water in the quarry rises every year, the original stone sunbathing platform is flooded. Carefully climb our way down to the stone-grassy platform, where visitors are picnic and sunbathing. There are plenty of dogs, different breeds and sizes running around my tastes. Some owners take care of their lovers.

Státní zámek Náchod.2.jpg

The town of Náchod is situated 346 metres above sea level on both river-banks of river Metuje and it is the town zone of conservation. First written mentions of the town originated in 1254. In the photo the very beautiful Nachod Castle.

Since today is Saturday, the Shabbat in the Jewish faith, my photograph is of the interior of the Jubilee Synagogue in Prague. It is also known as the Jerusalem Synagogue, because of its location on Jerusalem Street. It was built in 1906 and named in honor of the silver jubilee of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria. At the time, what is now the Czech Republic was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Franz Joseph I its ruler. (After the first world war, the first Czechoslovak Republic, a democratic parliamentary republic, was created and lasted until 1938.)

The Prague Loreto
This small Baroque ensemble houses a pretty cloister around the "Santa Casa" and especially a beautiful church which is one of Prague's baroque jewels, with dripping decorations of cherubs, in sweet colors, and in a very theatrical composition. There is also a collection of liturgical objects. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant.

Again picture from beautiful Flower Garden in Kromeriz. In October you can enjoy other aspects of this place... who said that only flowers should be there? ;) Trees were also cool :) Photo taken in 2016.

The coolest cafe in Prague on the island Vltava Střelecký ostrov - the "Coco Van". Twice we visited during the three days in Prague after two weeks. The operators are nice people.

Unfortunately, your entry does not meet the minimum 30-word description to be considered for the contest. Thank you for your understanding.

Wow! That is a cool photo! How amazing it is to see a rock like aliens put it there perfectly. These kinds of view makes me wonder what really Earth look like long time ago.

This photo was taken when I visited Co To Island (Viet Nam) last summer. Co To bring the feeling of peace, pristine, comfortable. Water is pure and blue. Long sandy beaches. The gentle waves. Morning view sunrise, sunset view, relax, swim, enjoy seafood with family ... It is really a memorable memory. I hope to come back to Co To the last day.CF708597-1FF2-45B8-B6A9-9F5EFA595CF4.jpeg

This photo was taken on my family's weekend picnic. It was taken at the Rain Falls (Viet Nam). There are white waterfalls, fresh green forests, clear streams, cool water. The birds singing echo the forest. This is an ideal place to relax after the days tired of busy work.4E95A4EE-3533-426A-95EF-E377863BBD7A.jpeg
