Hello fellow Steemians!

I am here with another round of my photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. I host this photo challenge twice a week - on Tuesday and Friday.

You can submit your entries in the current round from now until Friday, 6 AM (CET). Please, don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

The best 15 entries of the round will be rewarded with my upvote. I will also pick the absolute winner of the round from these 15 photos and reward him with an extra upvote on one of his recent posts published on the Steem blockchain. The winning photo will be also featured as the cover image for the next round of the photo challenge to give the author some more exposure and publicity.

There were many great entries submitted in the last round of the Prague/Czech Republic Photo Challenge and I had a hard time picking the absolute winner. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:

For the first time, we saw Kamp Island on the approach to Charles Bridge. We were shown the "Prague Venice". From the bridge there is a beautiful view of the island. Clean streets, greenery, toy houses. The whole island is a pedestrian zone. In fact, this island was created by people. The Chertovka River, about which all guides tell, is an artificial channel. It was he who cut off a piece of land, which we now know as Kampa Island.

Congratulations, @magnata! It was my pleasure to upvote one of your recent posts.

Thank you for your submissions everyone. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Beautiful countryside with free ranging cows grazing on a green meadow near the tiny South Moravian village of Sudomerice. This region is located at the border between the Czech and Slovakian Republic.

Klášter Kladruby na Tachovsku. Mistrovské dílo architekta J. B. Santiniho - Aichla, pohled do kupole s lucernou chrámu Nanebevzetí Panny Marie.
Tento chrám mistr Santini přestavěl v letech 1712-1726 v osobitém stylu tzv. barokní gotiky a my jej můžeme obdivovat do dnešních časů...

Kupole s lucernou.JPG

Kladruby Monastery in Tachov region. Masterpiece of architect J. B. Santini - Aichl, view into dome with lantern of Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
This temple was rebuilt by architect Santini in 1712-1726 in the distinctive style of the so-called Baroque Gothic and we can admire it to this day ...

I remember that Letná Park (in Czech Letenské sady) was a very beautiful area. Surely a nice place to relax and to escape from stress. I believe that every city needs a place like this to unwind.

This time I put a photo from my archive here. It is a picture of my native region. View of moving train from blooming meadow.

Pěkná momentka. Ve Svitavách a Moravské Třebové (i jinde po okolí) mám dost příbuzných :)

Břevnov Benedictine Monastery, Prague

This monastery has existed for over a thousand years. Twice he was almost completely destroyed and twice restored to even greater beauty. I like to walk there. Spring is my favorite.
Around the monastery there is a system of ponds that makes it even more beautiful.

Zajímavá kompozice. Kvalita tvých příspěvků stále stoupá :)

The Mariana Bridge in the city of Usti nad Labem is visible from almost any area. Its architecture stands out among the rest of the bridges across the river Laba. The Mariana Bridge, created in 1995-1998, is considered a modern symbol of the capital of the Ustetsky region.

Thank you very much for choosing my comment and for a good reward.
Prague is spread in Europe on the banks of the Vltava River. Since ancient times, it is considered the most beautiful city in Europe.
As soon as they didn’t call her names: both "Golden Prague" and "City of a Hundred Spiers". And everyone was right.))
Because to say that this is a beautiful city is not much to say. I want to go there again and again.
Unique, interesting city.
Excursion on it all day and this, as they say - only the main, in 50 Dreshskodovskih photos, this city by no means can accommodate.))
