Welcome to my Travel Tip edition where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I would like to show you what is often considered the most beautiful Czech castle, the Hluboka Castle.
Located in the small town of Hluboka nad Vltavou in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, the Hluboka Castle is a huge, historic castle and one of the dominant landmarks of the region.

The very origins of the castle date back to as early as the 13th century when there was a guardian Gothic castle built on the site. In the years and centuries to come, the original castle was rebuilt on numerous occasions and it was not until the 19th century when it got its current, monumental appearance inspired by the famous Windsor Castle in England.
Surrounded by extensive parks and gardens, the park is now open to public, offering several different tours. You can visit some of the castle´s 140 rooms and 11 towers, admire stylish old furniture or check out the large collections of paintings and artworks. The entrance fee differ according to the type of tour you choose but it is not overly expensive, usually some 7-8 EUR/USD. Tours in foreign languages are also available for an additional fee.

Thanks to its extraordinary size and majestic beauty, the Hluboka Castle has been also featured in some movies and it is a very popular place for weddings too.

wow, I must say your country is so beautiful and have so much to explore.
You know what is happening with me now a days? I read blogs of all the people and after seeing them I say I will visit their country haha. So I will also visit Czech Republic.

The architectural layout here is a masterpiece... I'm an architecture student and I should believe this structure must have cost quite a whole lot of fortune

I have always had a lot of interest towards castles and have seen a couple during my travels around the world. However, this one looks like it is straight out of a fantasy or movie. It looks absolutely incredible and one of these days I am going to make a trip across Europe to visit the best castles and this will definitely be one of them. Thank you for sharing and hope you share more castles within the Czech Republic or amazing places to hike.

It is not so expensive for 8 Euros a castle of 140 rooms? ... They are worth it. I imagine they do tour in Spanish too.
