Not really looking for a new one. I couldn't afford what I wanted anyway. I am really pleased with this one and with its tank like construction. Really feels like you can go invide some place with it in your hands. But the weight makes it not really suitable for fast and light alpine ascents for instance... So I guess it depends on the task you give it. For now I am fine living with the hardships of owning this one... I do want a super light, mirrorless, full frame dslr camera and I know Sony makes such a thing but I am not sold on the build quality. I do have an old film SLR Pentax ME Super which is light and small but also full frame, but then there is the issues with film... :)
Yeah, I do a lot of video for YouTube. I don't have a big budget so I am using a Panasonic Lumix. It does a decent job and is light enough. I looked at getting a Cannon, but I just can't afford it and I don't think I want the weight of it.
We all have to make compromises but you can take good images with just about any camera if you know it inside out... I'll keep an eye out for your posts. :)
I hope so too...but this one is a heavy beast.
Are you looking for a lighter camera, or do you think the "hardship" of carrying this one is worth it?
