Myanmar Travel Blog Part 6: People and Architecture of Inle Lake
Continuing my other blog posts from around Inle Lake in Myanmar, and Myanmar in general.
These photos were taken in December 2017 around Inle Lake. It's a beatiful place for photography if you ever get a chance to visit.
All my original photos taken with a now aging D800 and Tamron 70-200, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Some of the local costumes have amazing colours as you can see in this pic.
A typical house, they are on stilts to keep them from any rise in the water level. ( and rising damp :)
Sorry I didn't get the name of this temple., it looks quite modern to me though.
Not sure if this washing is supposed to have such a great pattern to it, but thanks for the photo opportunity!! Always love a good repeated pattern in a photograph.
Flowers to order !!
A typical street scene, just a bit harder to play football here.
These are hotel rooms, so tourists can stay on the lake for a great holiday experience. Just remember not to go for a walk in the night if you are sleepy, might be your last one otherwise!!!
Time for a chill in the shade and take the buffallo for a wash, looks like a pretty good job to me.
Never too young to have a boat :)
