Last week I took my friend Cleo to see the windmills of Kinderdijk just outside Rotterdam in Holland.
We took a trip on the boat and stopped off to see the two working windmills that were open to visitors.

This windmill it's very charming, it's cool how is inside, i visited Rotterdam ten years ago but i did not visit an windmill and this is a shame, seems really an enchanted place!
Yes it was. She was only in Holland for a few days, so I took her to Kinderdijk because it doesn't really get any more Dutch than this place right?

The place is beautiful! I visited Kinderdijk back in 2014, as a one day trip when I was visiting Amsterdam. I took a train to Utrecht and a bus from there, even tough afterwards I realized that going from Rotterdam would probably be a better option (shorter bus ride). I am not sure if it is still so now. Anyways, I loved the place and was fascinated by the fact that some of the mills are still occupied (people actually live there!) :)
