This is going to be my first post in both English and Korean. They are just liberal translations so please excuse if they not exactly the same. I never really thought about posting in both languages in one post, but hopefully if there is ever a need, I will separate them :P. So here we go!
한국 스팀잇 유저분들 안녕하세요! @darin0925입니다. 처음으로 한국어와 영어를 동시에 포스팅하게 되었는데요, 영어표현과 한국어 표현이 의역된 점을 양해 바랍니다. 스팀잇을 시작하고 나서 영어로만 포스팅을 했지만, 이번 기회에 한번 한국어도 함께 포스팅하겠습니다. 잘 부탁드립니다!
I didn't think that I was going to separate our Sri Lanka trip into 4 different parts, but I thought I would introduce the community to a magical place hidden in Haputale. We stayed at a place called Thotalagala which is a plantation home renovated into hotel. Thomas Lipton actually stayed here a few times, but we thought this was a place that deserved its own posting in itself. I think the photo speaks for itself.
스리랑카 여행을 4개의 파트로 나눠지게 될거라고 생각도 못했는데요, 이번 포스팅은 저희가 묵었던 호텔을 소개하고 싶어서 따로 분리를 했습니다. 이 곳은 예전에 차잎밭을 관리하던 영국인들의 집이였는데, 리모델링을 해서 호텔로 탈 바꿈되었습니다. 사진을 보시면 얼마나 아름다운지 짐작하실수 있을것 같습니다.
The Hotel
The hotel itself is very cosy and beautifully arranged to introduce you to a famous tea plantation owner. Not to mention the fact that the surrounding tea fields and the views were amazing. I didn't imagine that there would be a place like this in a small town of Haputale. Take a look!
호텔 방은 아담하고 아늑했습니다. 각 방은 스리랑카에서 유명한 차 재배하셨던 사람들의 역사가 테로 잡혀있는데요, 각 방은 전부 다 다른 분위기고 특별했습니다. 하지만, 가장 좋았던건 하퓨탈레처럼 외진곳에서 이렇게 아름다운 곳이 있는지 전혀 예상을 못했는데, 신선한 놀라움이였습니다!

립톤싯에서 돌아와서, 아름다운 하늘 아래 점심을 먹게 되었습니다.
Thomas Lipton's Home and Afternoon Tea
*We then headed to Thomas Liton's actual home nearby to get some afternoon tea! It was a beautiful home with lots of garden areas.
점심 이후에는 토마스 립톤이 실제로 살았던 집에서 애프터눈 티를 마시러 갔습니다. 여기도 너무 이쁘고 아름다왔습니다.

집에 앞에 있던 정원과 주변에 보이는 산들입니다.
BBQ under the stars
*Now that I think about it, I think all we did here was eat all day and enjoyed the view, because after our afternoon tea, we just relaxed and got ready for dinner bbq under the stars!
지금 생각해보면, 하루 종일 먹고 자기만 한것 같습니다. 애프터눈티를 마신 이후에 잠깐 쉬었다가 밤 하늘 아래 바베큐를 하게 되었거든요...
Morning Breakfast and the Sunrise
*The next morning before going back to Colombo, we had a sunrise breakfast at the same location.
콜롬보로 돌아가기 전에 같은 장소에서 해돋이 아침식사를 하게 되었습니다.
*The infinity pool and the morning sunrise made the perfect picture is one of my favorite photos.
개인적으로 가장 맘에는 수영장과 아침 하늘 사진입니다.
The Train Ride Back
*We took some photos with local people that were waiting for the train. It ended up taking around 9 hours back to Colombo and because we could not buy reserved seating tickets, I had to stand for 5 hours waiting for a seat... but we still got some good photos.
기차를 기다리는 동안 현지인들과 함께 사진를 찍었습니다. 하퓨탈레에서 콜롬보까지 약 9시간 걸리는데요, 미리 지정좌석표를 예매하지 못해서, 저는 자리가 날때까지 약 5시간 정도 서 있었습니다. 그래도 사진 찍어서 나름 시간이 빨리 갔던거 같습니다.
*And yes, selfies and snacks.
셀카와 간식을 빼먹을순 없죠.
*Tasted like fried shrimp but it was beans
새우튀김 맛나는데, 녹두전 튀긴거 같았습니다.
And I think that's pretty much it!
