The first printing press of Iran was led by the religious leader of the Church of Vank, Khachatur Varpat Dasaratsi and his disciples at the Church of Vank.
They constructed and designed a machine, paper and compound printing of letters in 1638 or 1017 solar years, and were able to publish their first book with the theme and biography of the clergy's fathers, Sakmous (Sobor Davood), on 572 pages. Examples of the art of writing at that time, such as the types of volumes of fuel, mosaics, drops and oily notes and religion belonging to the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
