Fun Shots #9 - Extreme

You never really know what's coming. A small wave, or maybe a big one. All you can really do is hope that when it comes, you can surf over it, instead of drown in its monstrosity. ― Alysha Speer

Hi, Steemit Fretz!

This was our first (hopefully not the last) white water rafting adventure. This was the time when we visited Cagayan for a few days. For some, they thought that I am fearless and never backs out for an adventure. Yes, I don't back-out but that doesn't mean I'm not scared. I'm scared as a rat but in my thoughts, if I let this experience pass I might regret this for the rest of my life.

As a newbie, one thing that I'm not really good at is taking instructions for the first time. I tend to repeat what that person is talking and repeat, repeat and when execution comes, it's either I freeze or I can execute with a few seconds delay (brain's loading or still processing).

We were in one boat @junvebbei and @elle.laurent and me, we had a guide whose pretty adventurous so we did a few tricks while on board. We also had mishaps happen to us like going overboard and one of my fretz who got left behind, good thing we had experienced guides and swimmers so we were all safe.

That adventure, we still have a good laugh whenever we talked about it.

Would I ever do this again? Hmmm. That I can't answer. Let's wait and see. Would you?

Hey, this is nice. Where was this taken?

@gailbelga this is in Cagayan :)

Oh yeah. Just near from my house. I reside in Xavier Heights so basically I could see it. Yay! No wonder it looks familiar.
