I have seen similar building in Kiev and Moscow.. we have soviet architecture in Slovakia too but we don't have these large buildings which is good I guess :) It's definitely an interesting district to see if you know the history and meaning for the nation. I haven't heard of the movie Chernobyl but I should definitely watch it as I was also born in 1986 and heard so much about this accident. I'm from the East of Slovakia which is said to be impacted quite heavily..
Thank you for sharing and have a nice day!
I personally rarely get out of the center of city I visit, but I've seen plenty of these in Tbilisi where I did explore other layers of it.
It is not a movie, but miniseries, meaning that it won't have you cliff hanged for 7 seasons. But what it does is giving more meaning behind those grey monuments in the region.
Well it is the closest point of your country. I've never actually researched the damage done outside of Chernobyl and Pripiyat itself. Maybe the miniseries will provide some information, I've just gone into it:)
Thank you for reaching me out and sharing your thoughts, have a nice day as well, my friend!:)
