Yep, these places still exist and they're pretty easy to find. I was invited on this media trip by the Tourism Authority of Thailand because of my travel site It's Better in Thailand that I run with my friend @freelancestories . There are always some good things on these trips and usually some boring stuff, but today was pretty special.
The small town of Laem Sak is a community of Thai Muslims and Buddhists, and Chinese-Thais all living together peacefully. Here's some of what I found there and on a boat trip in the nearby Northeast of Phang Nga Bay.
