Nice to read about your travels through the Netherlands. Being Dutch myself and being born in Amsterdam and having lived in Eindhoven and Utrecht, it all sounds very familiar to me. Had a laugh when reading about your experiences in Eindhoven. It's probably not the best place to start your Dutch adventures, as you've found out. Best of luck!

haha, yeah Eindhoven was definitely a strange place to start! But the flights there were cheaper than Amsterdam and it being close to Tilburg made it convenient for us. I think the area around the train station is just confusing if you dont know where you are going...we found a better route the next day when we walked back that was much friendlier!
