This is Changing of the guards ceremony at Deoksugung Palace during our visit to South Korea few months ago. Visitors can get to take photos with the guards and commander at the end. That is quite a ceremony to change the guards complete with an entire band.

Located in the city of Seoul, it is considered one of the great palaces built by the kings of the Joseon Kingdom,
This palace became a royal palace during the Japanese invasion after all other palaces were burnt in 1592.
Finally, Emperor Gujong lived until the end of the Joseon Dynasty
