Take-off — Hive

A bird's eye view of Mauritius as we take off on our Andaman island trip.

We had a wet and dreary takeoff from Mauritius to Réunion Island which is just a 40 minute island hop.

We were however blessed with an amazing sunset enroute to the airport as the kids dropped us off..... Yes.... We're at that stage in life where our kids can drop us so need of a taxi this morning. The airport is in the south of the island and about an hour's drive from where we live in the north.😊

Touch-down

we've got a two hour wait at one of the most expensive places ever....poor hubby got a baby coffee because we can't speak French.. 😂 😂 And everything is charged in Euros which is bad for our bank account. This meal was exorbitantly expensive.

Off on our first ever flying holiday without kids in tow. Must say it makes a huge difference although.... Hubby's almost worse than having a child with as he's an extremely restless traveller....😂 😂
