Waterfall Angels in Venezuela

in #travel7 years ago

The Falls of Angel (in Spanish: Salto ngngel) is located in Venezuela and is the highest waterfall in the world, and the height of 979 meters. It was first described by Venezuelan explorer Ernesto Sánchez La Croix in 1912, but he did not publish his discovery. It was not until 1933 that it was known by the pilot James Engel, whose name was called Waterfalls. The irony is that the word Angel means angel, while the name that the indigenous people cast on the waterfalls was Satan's mouth.

The Angels Falls, which flow into the Churon River in western Venezuela, are the highest waterfalls in the world with a total elevation of 979 meters and a longest continuous fall of 807 meters. Angels Falls from a cliff in an elevated area called Lagrán Sabata, characterized by its huge flat hills, multicolor, some of which are more than 760 meters high. The Falls are located on the Aoyan Tippoi Mountains, which rise 2560 meters above sea level. These waterfalls were discovered in 1935 and were first seen by pilot Jimmy Engel.
In the summer you can reach the top of the waterfall by plane and by boat where there is plenty of water. In times of drought, water is reduced. He can shower under the waterfall and play in his lower lake.
