A significant part of Lithuania's heritage is concentrated in the countless churches of the country. So the tallest structure in Palanga is the famous church of the Holy Virgin Mary. This 76-meter building was designed by the Swedish architect K. Strandman in the style of neo-Gothic. The Catholic church was built in 1897-1906.
Amazing in the church of the Holy Virgin Mary in Palanga for its beauty and content, stained glass and an altar made of marble with magnificent carvings.
The city of Palanga in Lithuania is great for relaxing with your family or with your girlfriend!)

What grand architecture they sure do not make them these days with the style of the past
Yeah
I clicked on this post because the St. Mary's Church in the title. My surname is Marychuch, and before they took out the St. in our name, we were the St. Marychurch family. Our surname comes from this orphaned boy left on the steps on St. Mary's Church ages and ages ago. (but for some reason I can't ever find a clue that Marychurch exists...)
