Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park is one of the absolute highlights of the canadian Rocky Mountains. It is a one hour drive from Jasper and a must-see for every visitor. Because of its popularity the parking lot will fill up very quickly, so you should head out early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the crowds.

I would say that Canada has such a variety of beautiful landscapes that everyone will find somewhere they love, somewhere in the country!
I haven't had the chance to visit all 9,093,507 km2 of Canada's land, but I would say so. ;-)

Yes, that was the plan. I wanted to take the last shuttle of the day to spirit Island. Unfortunately I didn't realize that Alberta has a different time zone than BC. So when I arrived to board the last shuttle it was already gone :(
Ahhhhhhh. Yeah, everything feels the same in the mountains. The border crossing is unremarkable and it's easy to forget. :(
