On the black lava rocks of the Island El Hierro of the Canary Islands sits the Hotel Punta Grande, the former smallest hotel of the world with only four bedrooms.
It's a kind of curiosity because of its size, the isolated location at the steep rough lava coast and the fact that much of the wood used was salvaged from ship wrecks.

Hi, thank you for your entry. I know that I accepted your Canary Islands picture under African continent in the past but they really are part of Europe. It might be little questionable but after doing more research they should go under Europe. Thank you for your understanding. Tomas
