LONGEST and HIGHEST Zipline in Idaho!

This is the experience I had last Fall. Idaho is not too far from where I live, so I travel there almost every month, and this time I had an opportunity to try zip lining in Coeur d'Alene. The whole zip lining experience took us about two and a half hours and it costs $100 per person. It started with a fast quad shuttle ride up the mountain with drifty turns. Then, we climbed the tree where our first zip line station was waiting for us. During whole trip, we experienced 7 high lines (half of them were really long) and 3 cool rope bridges. The longest zip line was around 1600 feet.

This is one of the tree stops..

One of the rope bridges... this one is not the longest one.

We just had to take a picture with this beautiful view of forest and lake.

..and here I am doing my last and longest zip line :)

I think it can be a great experience for everyone, even if you are scared of heights. This is probably the safest thing to do in the air and still get adrenalin and have a great time. I really recommend zip lining while travelling because this way you can see the best views!

Wow. Looks like a scene from Star Wars Return of The Jedi (Endor)

How much did it cost?

Sorry, forgot to mention it . It was $100 per person

Looks fun! I love rope bridges such as those.

I love them too! so much fun! thanks for checking out my post :)

Looks kind of fun! 2 and a half hours sounds pretty long for some ziplines. Can imagine there was a decent amount of walking involved as well(?) Thanks for the share.

no, not really. walking was about 5 minutes. We had a lot of people in our group, so we had to wait for everyone . 7 zip lines and 3 rope bridges.

longest bridge took about 5 minutes to walk. it was very wiggly and I tried to take a picture on it lol

That explains the 2 and a half hours ;). Those hanging bridge can wiggle a lot indeed.

That looks so fun! Is that close to Boise?

no, about 8 hours away. This zip line experience was somewhere in Coeur d'Alene or near by. We payed for it at Coeur d'Alene Mall, but then we had to drive somewhere for another 20 minutes .

Nice pictures. Far to high for me.

thanks :)

You are brave

actually it wasn't scary even a little bit, which was very surprising because I am afraid of heights. I felt really safe there.

I would be too afraid to do the zipline. we have one locally and I have not been yet!

Oh wow, great post, I could never do that. Because of my fear of heights. Best wishes @MyRoute86

I felt the same way, but really it is not scary ! you should try

Yes, you're right. Maybe I will try this summer. :-)

Looks like a great experience; not sure if I'd still have the nerve to do this, but I'm getting to be an old fart! Seems like a pretty extensive excursion-- glad you had fun!

yeah it was a fun experience :) thanks for reading my post :)

Oh that is one heck of a cool experience!
Definitely hope to get to try it out one day

you should :) I feel like now I want to try something more serious like skydiving lol

Looks super fun, and in the photo you are ziplining, you don't look scared one bit, that makes me wanna do it even more :)

That looks like so much fun! The scenery there is beautiful!!

fantastic looking place and I can imagine that it was a real adrenaline rush. Thank you.

Oh yeah.. this is fun !

Exhilarating!! I did a zip line like this in Jungfrau Switzerland and over the Pacific. Really fun but it's over so quick. Your pictures are so clear. Someone afraid of heights might have a hard time there.

Looks adventurous! Well done 😄 @ella-kay

You are super brave girl!! keep going never give up
