I took a 4 day trip to Savannah to escape the cold, and Savannah did not disappoint.
We stayed at the Fairfield which was very central to most things in the historic district. St. Patty’s was also being celebrated, so it was a bit more crowded than normal, even with COVID.
Day 1: brunch at Hueys, dinner at Collins Quarter, then a ghost tour that ended with karaoke at McDonoughs
Day 2: trip to Bonaventure Cemetery, lunch at the Pirate House, tour of the Owens-Thomas house, dinner at Repeal 33, pinball at the portal, then bar hopping to Barrelhouse, PS Tavern, and a burger place I forget the name of.
Day 3: rented bikes and rode around the squares, visited Forsyth park and the farmers market, brunch at the bohemian hotel and drinks at rocks on the roof, ice cream at the famous Leopolds ice cream , dinner at 17hundred90, darts at PS Tavern, more drinks at McDonoughs.
Day 4: Lunch at Crystal Beer palace , walked jones street, and ended with touring the Jepson center and Telfair Museum.
Definitely had a busy 4 days, and I would go back for sure. Comment if you want to hear about any of the places I mentioned !
