Yesterday , I returned from my vacantion . It was really nice and relaxing .
The weather was a little too cold for the season - rain with flashes and storms but it was just for a few hours.

We visited some amazing places:
Snejanka peak
n the heart of the Rhodope mountains, at the distance of 260 km. to the south - east of Sofia, 85 km. to the south of Plovdiv and at the distance of 15 km. of Smolyan, is located one of the most beautiful and magnificent Bulgarian peaks - Snejanka. With its 1926 meters it is the highest in the Pamporovo resort. The sunny days here are more than 240 and the climate is soft. The average annual temperature is 8, 5оC, and the thickness of the snow is about 140 – 150 meters. There are a lot of ski – runs, which are very enticing for the lovers of the winter sports. There are and a few chair – lifts at the Snejanka’s slopes. Also the tourist can use and the ski – drags.
In the summer Snejanka peak will welcome you with sunny sky, and incredible slopes with wide herbs and flowers, fresh air, and fragrance of pine. The average summer temperature is about 18оC – perfect place for refreshment in the hot summer days.

Shiroka Luka
Shiroka Laka is a village in the very south of Bulgaria, located in Smolyan municipality, Smolyan Province. It is a proclaimed architectural and folklore reserve and lies in the central Rhodope Mountains, 23 km northwest of Smolyan, 16 km west of Pamporovo and 22 km southeast of Devin.
The dominant and traditional religion in the village is Eastern Orthodox Christianity and the population is 573 (as of September 2005). Shiroka Laka lies at 1,206 m above sea level, at 41°41′N 24°35′E. The mayor is Aleksandar Kavroshilov. The village has existed at this place since the 17th century and was founded by Bulgarians fleeing from the forcible Islamization conducted by the Ottoman authorities of the time in the Rhodopes.
