There is so much beauty in New Zealand you don't have to work too hard to access otherworldly beauty. Many of the most stunning sights are accessible without fancy accommodations or expensive tours. Just throw some sleeping bags in back of the car, find a nice spot, and lean back and enjoy the view. Waking up with the sunrise at Purakanui Bay on the South Island of New Zealand.
