Sylvie and I had planned a weekend trip to the Belgian coastal town of Ostend. By chance this was also the time of the local food truck festival both local and international fare.
First we have the classic barbecue, except this one is carried on Buddha's shoulders!
Next we have something typically Belgian: the pofertjes. These are miniature pancakes the size of a coin, usually served with sugar.
International food was also well represented. That guy is cooking Asian food for an army.
Finally something a bit more local: crêpes, also known as pancakes. However those are made by the meter rather than in a pan. Delicious all the same!
It is said that in the summer Belgium becomes a land of outdoor festivals. Looking at the large turnout, the variety of food and the beauty of the place I can certainly believe it.
we call a minitature pancake "Nujyuyaki" I want to eat it. so delisious.
