Fiji were not far away from Australia and I was anyway in Brisbane, so I decided to take an airplane and fly to this Paradise.
It took circa 3 Hours to fly from Brisbane to Nadi (capital city of Fiji).
Here you can see the air route ....
After arriving in Fiji I looked for a hostel for one night. On the next day I would travel to the Island "Beachcomber".
My destination in Fiji was Beachcomber Island. I traveled with a boat from the main Island to this little Island.
After some time we saw Beachcomber Island. It was really a little Island, you can walk around the island in 10 minutes. I would spend some days on this Island.
If you hungry, then there is one big kitchen for everyone.
You will always take food together with some people. It is never boring there...
There is one big Dorm for everyone...
All people sleep in this big Dorm ... it's funny :-)
There you can also find a little Shop, an internet-room, a massage-room and some other services like sending Postcards to someone ...
It doesn't matter where you go, this island is a circle and everywhere is just beach around. You can leave this island just with a boat.
The native people on the Island are very friendly and helpful. They are always smiling :-)
When you go around, you'll find a hammock somewhere. There you can relax all day!
If you are fit enough, then you can grab a canoe and paddle to the neighbours Island. I did it and it took me almost one hour. You can observe some turtles there. :-)
If someone loves beer ...
You should try the drink called kava-kava! It is a national drink on Fiji, all native people drink it. After that you will feel like drunk or high :-D ...
You can also go out for snorkeling, there is a beautiful coral-reef. Just ask someone at the reception.
The best thing happens in the night. There will come hundreds of little sharks to the beach, because of the shining lights...
This was just a tip of the iceberg, what you can do on Fiji. ...... Remember Fiji has more than 300 Islands!
