I’m currently on board a Finnair flight from Helsinki to Bangkok. Being all fancy and shit, or addicted to Steemit, I bought a couple of hours worth of Wifi to use. And you know, a bitch gotta work to pay for this trip half across the world for two weeks!
The weather was absolutely beautiful, and deadly cold when we left Finland. It’s going to be fun to go from -15 degrees Celsius to 30 in less than 12 hours. We left just as the sun was setting, and we'll arrive to Bangkok when the sun rises, can't wait for the amazing views.
We are about a half way in of a nine hour flight, and it’s going pretty smooth. I’m a little anxious when ever I fly, because I have a vivid imagination and I’ve and I’ve watched all the episodes of that plain crash investigation show… This is the first time I’m on a more than five hour long flight, and I must say, it is not actually that bad. The in flight entertainment system is pretty sweet, there are a lot of movies and shows to watch, I already watched the “Three Billboards”, it was really good!
The wifi on a plane takes me back to the early years of 21st century, this internet connection is so slow! I’d think that it should be faster, aren’t we closer to all those satellites?! First world problems for sure.
I'm off to a nap and I'll try to get back to some of the comments after that, but we'll see. Steemit is a very heavy platform for this connection...

I know the feeling i'm scared of flying too... but it's also something i have to somehow get over if i want to travel haha... Yes i heard wifi on planes is very slow... was the wifi expensive? looking forward to the rest of your post :)

En muuten tienny, että Finnairiltakin löytyy lentokoneesta wifi. Tai sitten en oo vaan huomannut tai sitten niitä löytyy vain isoimmista koneista pitkillä lennoilla. Mene ja tiedä.
Taitaa olla vaan noilla pidemmillä lennoilla, en kyllä voi mitenkään erityisesti suositella, ei sillä netillä paljoa saanu aikaseks :D

For some reason I fell that this image is very relaxing.
6 to 8 times a year i make more than 7 thousand miles and cross the equatorial line from my work place in Angola to my origins Country Portugal for some vacations and I almost always do it at night so i don't have the pleasure to see the views.

Nice work staying on the ball while mile-high! I tried it once (wasn't Steeming at the time) and gave up very fast, so kudos for persistence!
