In the last story we visited the village of Pozharishe, this time I'll tell you about another abandoned village of Gorka.
The village is on the opposite bank of the river of the Northern Dvina from the city of Krasavino in the Vologda region.
For a long time nobody lives in the village, there is no light and there are no roads there either.
Previously, people go by boat, and in winter, when the river freezes walked on it.
There even had its own bakery and went there in the winter for fresh bread from Krasavino.
Now there are even no summer cottages.
In winter, snowmobiles are used to take away everything that could be useful in the farm. For example, dismantle floors, iron. But this few people do, judging by the preserved interior of many houses.
By car there can not be reached - the road has long overgrown! We were gladly agreed to be transported by boat to the employee of the museum in Krasavino and told us about this village.
The shore is very steep and high! There was once a ladder, but it was washed away in a flood. Therefore, it is necessary to climb only through the ravine.
Also there are remains of an interesting temple with columns
Nearby is an old pine.
At the temple there was an interesting find of museum workers - a monument to her husband from a grateful wife!
In the village of grass to the waist.
There are interesting little houses.
And the huts "on chicken legs"
We went to the last house and back home.
It's like an open-air museum!
Great photos as well.
Thanks! I like it too)
These are so great. I feel like looking around natural film sets. Enjoyed @evildeathcore
thank you very much!
Вот мне всегда интересно было, как англоязычный человек поймет фразу "The huts "on chicken legs" и всё очарование её смысла?
Да уж, сложно писать старинные русские фразы на английском языке! Ведь только русские поймут, что это значит.
