To get to the other side of the oxbow lake, you need to find an isthmus, where through the narrow a stream of wooden walkways.
This place is not difficult to find, since there are many roads. I asked the locals how to get to the river, but if I hadn’t asked, I would have easily found it myself.
There is also a moving place by car, but it is only available to trained SUVs or tractors.
And here the village of Big Sinega appeared before me in all its glory! I never would have thought that such a picturesque place!
On the shore of almost every house there is a boat, the houses are reflected in the rough surface of the water, dry sedge makes noise from the wind.
The weather that day went to extremes.
Bright sun was shining against the blue sky, painting with its yellowish autumnal light the surrounding nature even more yellowness. Or the clouds frowned, turning a naive pastoral into a harsh gloomy northern landscape.
Occasionally it even rained, but that didn’t scare me away.
I was already so inspired by these beauties that it seemed as if I had enough strength to conquer the whole world!
I didn’t want to go anywhere, I wanted to stay here for as long as possible and soak up all the energy of this place.
Hey, guy! Take a picture of me! - suddenly came voice from that shore. - Is it beautiful here?
Yes, you have incredible beauty here. – I answer and at the same time I find out how far Northern Dvina. The plan to visit the village included a walk along the river. I also take some photos with beautiful views of the village and go to the river, crossing the field.
The view from the field is not at all the same as with the lake in the foreground.
At the Northern Dvina River, completely different adventures await me. But I still have to return through the village.
To be continued...
Gorgeous pictures; thank you for sharing! I get a dreamlike feeling of what it might be like living there
