Priluki is a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region. It is part of the Opoksky rural settlement. The distance by road to the district center of Veliky Ustyug is 62 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Poldarsa - 3 km.
Many times I drove from Poldarsa past a fork with a road sign where "Priluki" is written. I could not even imagine what this village looks like. And so I decided to fill in the gaps in the list of settlements in which I have not been.
The first part of the village is located on a high and steep bank of the Sukhona River. At the entrance to Priluki you feel longing and ruin: many abandoned houses leave no chance to find this place attractive.
But we will not make hasty conclusions.
Meet in appearance, but you need to take a walk and feel everything.
I immediately want to go to the river and see what views are available from the village of Priluki.
From a height you can see Sukhona river and its opposite shore.
The most important feature that immediately catches your eye is a large number of moss and lichen on all surfaces, starting from the roofs of houses and sheds.
Finishing with wooden fences.
Moss is everywhere!
Perhaps this is somehow connected with climatic conditions and the geographical position of the village.
There are permanent residents in the village of Priluki. One woman even came from Moscow to live here. She was surprised when she found out that I was writing about villages.
“I would never have thought that this was interesting to someone, but I am very glad that there are still such people who are interested in local history,” – the local resident shared.
Judging by the appearance and location of the houses, this part of Priluki is more modern.
There are even a couple of multi-apartment buildings.
The rest of the houses are the most typical for our region.
The multi- apartment buildings were also between the two parts of the village, but they left only ruins.
Therefore, the village of Priluki was so divided into two parts. The middle part was simply wiped off the face of the earth.
Just nothing...
