The old shore

in #travel7 years ago

Again, I will return to the memories of the old picturesque stony bank of the Sukhona River near the city of Veliky Ustyug.
Such shots, as shown here, can not be done anymore - the shore is covered with gray slabs, and near the water has gravel.

The photos were taken in 2013 at the end of September and beginning of October.

Ahead you can see the very plates that now cover the entire shore in the city.
The most interesting is where did these centuries-old boulders go? To another official on the foundation of the cottage?

Can you see ducks?

To make it more clear why I'm so sad about the old shore - here are examples of what construction looked like last year.

Instead of huge boulders, rubble is now lying.

And from the water protruded pieces of plates.
