The Misty Jungle In Brgy Kahupian Sogod Philippines.
Kahupian, a mostly rural area, is one of many barangays or barrios in the Municipality of Sogod. There are 39,864 people living in Sogod and it’s 45 barangays. The Kahupian Barangay is a rural area of only 1,455 residents. It is a beautiful misty jungle! It is probably best known for the Agas-Agas Bridge and the famous zip line that quickly takes you down the valley and over the bridge. The twin zip line, one of the longest in the country, is 2,890 ft long. It swiftly takes the rider above the bridge and down the Subangdaku river gorge. The ride is very safe and worth it. It lasts about 40 seconds. They provide a Habal Habal ride back. A Habal Habal is a customized motorcycle which can hold up to 12 passengers. Only in the Philippines would you see a Habal Habal! This zip line experience with its Habal Habal is a memory in the making. It is a must do while in Kahupian. This is adventure! This is the rural Philippines!

This once unknown cave is in the northern mountainous part of Kahupian. This unexplored cave sits at the meeting point of the three rivers. Take a trek in the lush jungle of Kahupian and discover the cave for yourself. Cainting Cave has been undisturbed by human activity and has not yet been fully explored. I feel bad for not being familiar with Sogod. I've only heard of Agas-Agas bridge. Probably because I have seen one or two pre-nup photos in the area. The misty jungle looks beautiful..in a kinda creepy way. But it is beautiful. (Thank you Wrong Turn movies).
This is amazing! I didn't know that Agas-Agas is in Barangay Kahupian. Hahaha! 😊 I've also tried the zipline. This blog made me remember those thrilling times. Hmmm, I'll be blogging that moment. 😂😂
I'm a nature lover too. I really like your blog 🤗
Wow what a wonderful nature!

So that's where it is. I thought maybe this was Leyte, but Wikipedia says "Cebu." It's been nearly 40 years since I was there (I'm an American) so maybe I need to make another trip.
