Morning Light On Mount Hayes In The Alaska Range Near Delta Junction Alaska
The Delta community rests inside the Tanana River Valley. There are three different mountain ranges that surround this fertile valley. The beautiful White Mountains are off to the North, the Granite Mountains are off to the Southeast, with the spectacular Alaska Range looming off to the Southwest. This beautiful fertile valley is cradled by these three major mountain ranges and also the Delta River which runs to the west of the city of Delta. What an amazing picturesque valley.

The Alaska Range is rugged and enormous. Severe weather, mountain glaciers, together with the ice and snow make this one of the greatest mountain ranges in North America. It is the home to the continent's tallest peak, and is filled with many trails and rock climbing adventures.
While traveling through the Tanana Valley, take time to explore these beautiful mountain ranges with their magnificent panorama of scenic grandeur. This is only one of the spectacular areas of America's northern most state. If you enjoy nature and camping, you can travel on the ferry for less money and camping is free to low cost. It is a beautiful way to explore this magnificent area in the summer months. Why not make this the year that you get up close with nature and enjoy an Alaskan adventure.

Beautiful area to travel and get to see sunrises and sunsets on those mountains. I've never been to Alaska but sure have to BC and the views are breath taking.
