Hello, Steem friends! In this post, I'd like to show you the differences between the two countries that people always replace.
Slovenia and Slovakia have quite similarities. Both countries are located in Central Europe, alongside a similar name they have a similar flag, and both joined the European Union in 2004.
People from both countries would like to not replace us. So I would like to show you the differences between the two countries.
Flag on the left is Slovenia........ Flag on the right is Slovakia
The map of Central Europe shows us where Slovenia and Slovakia are, and with which countries they are neighbors
And now let me tell you something about Slovenia and Slovakia
First Slovenia
Slovenia is a relatively small and young country, which only appeared on the map in 1991. Her surface area is only 20,273 km2 ( 7827.449mi² ), with population little over 2 million people. The capital city is Ljubljana. Slovenia sea, beautiful lakes, forest, and rivers provide much needed cool refreshment on hot summer days.
First some pictures of capital city Ljubljana

The highest mountain Triglav measures in altitude 2864 meters ( 9396 ft ).
On the top of the Triglav is tower named Aljažev stolp. Old people say every true Slovenian must come to this tower at least once in a lifetime
Slovenia is a land of forests. With it is covered about 3/5 of the surface, which means that almost every Slovenian place is near the forest. And in forest life a lot of bears so u must be careful when u go in nature.
Logarska Dolina - Logar Valley
There are many people in Slovenia who produce wine.
Btw this is a great tourist attraction, where a lot of selfy pictures are made.
Slovenian beach - Portoroz
Slovenian Lake - Bohinj
Donald Trump definitely does not confuse these two countries. His wife Melania is a Slovenian born in the town Sevnica
And here are some top sportsmen from Slovenia
Jan Oblak one of the best goalkeeper in the world - Atletico Madrid, Spain
Anže Kopitar Los Angelas ice hockey player
Tina Maze is one of the best female skiers of all time
Goran Dragic NBA Player - Miami Heat
Tim Gajser professional motocross racer, FIM MXGP world championship 2016 only 20 years old
And now Slovakia
The Slovakia Republic was created on January 1, 1993, when it split from the then common state of Czechoslovakia. Her surface area is 49,035 km² ( 18932.52mi² ), with population around 5.5 million people. The capital city is Bratislava. Slovakia is a landlocked country with no exit to the sea. Relief is mostly mountainous and hilly. Some lowland world where the Danube River is in the southwest and in the south-east of the country. The lowest point (94 m - 308ft 4.7in ) is located in the far east.
Capital city Bratislava is the capital city of the Slovak Republic and the most important tourist destination in Central Europe.

Devín Castle
Nový Most or New Bridge

Gerlachovský štít ( Gerlachov Peak ) 2,655 meters or 8,711 ft, the highest mountain in Slovakia

Because of the similarities between the two countries, in the past, there have been many awkward situations and confusion at various events. One of the last incidents was at the Hockey World Championship in Germany in 2017, when a Slovenian anthem, Zdravljica, was played at the match between Slovakia and Italy. We can hope that such mistakes will not happen anymore.
