Good job, Jerry - Yes you can do hotel reviews. Or any reviews. Keep your eyes open and review anything - restaurants, attractions, software etc.

You did really well. For future:

  • add all the contact info for the hotel
  • use an affiliate link to link to the hotel - booking dot com or viglink
  • make mention of the staff and your interactions with them
  • say "hotel review" in your url

It's good to summarize your pros/cons in the beginning of the reviews for people who are trying to decide where to stay. Give them the bottom line up front and then they can read further for details.

Go over your reviews for seo before you post them. They will be evergreen and generate traffic over time. The location, hotel name, and "hotel review" should be repeated about three times each throughout any review of more than 500 words.

For your photos

  • keep straight horizons
  • pay attention to the light and get the best you can esp indoors
  • pay attention to the 4 corners of your shot before shooting to get good composition

Your text, tone and family stories are all perfect. Keep that going.

Your exterior shots are really good. The unused pool breaks my heart. I love the coat hangers so much.

If you are not on viglink, please use my link to join. You need a self-hosted blog to sign up with them. Then you get access to their 70K in Merchants and you can promote their products like I do. I link to booking dot com and many others for travel through viglink.

Glad you are safe up there and now do your next hotel, and your car and your luggage. Affiliate links will definitely work for you and your traffic.
