6am sunrise from the boat in Mabul, Borneo on our way to a diving site. Although I don't like to wake up so early, the sunrise dive is my favorite of the day. The ocean is beaming with life as all the creatures underneath wake up. The sunrise is always a surprise as you never know what it will be like. Everyone on the boat is usually quiet and nobody is talking because how could we, as this magical day is unfolding.
